Popeyes Louisiana Kitchen (Closed)

After finishing our movie show at Tampines Century, drawn by the strong fragrance smell of the chicken from Popeyes nearby. So we decided to go in to have a bite. The restaurant serves chicken you choose original or spicy , for set meal you can choose your side dish, whipped potatoes , french fries , etc. We ordered the set meal that come with 3 pc chicken , fries , drink. The chicken is very crispy outside the meat is tender and white and it was not oily at all. I like the fries as the serving

I was in the mood for some fried chicken and pop into Popeyes.Saw that they are having a promotion for Cajun Rice Platter at $4.30 and went for it. Piping hot cajun rice was tasty and nice. Popeyes fried chicken was also very satisfying. Crispy fried skin was crunchy sinful but good. The chicken meat inside was tender and flavourful.Overall this dish is filling enough and very satisfying.

Popeyes seems to have gain a lot of popularity recently. Went to the branch at tampines today and got myself a chicken strip set. The chicken strips were easy to eat (without bones) - just dip it into chilli sauce and it's good to go. It's a little spicy as well, which suits my tastebuds. The whipped potato is one of the best among all the fast food chains in my opinion, but the coleslaw is average. good to have for a quick take-away meal or when the cravings come.

After finishing shopping at century square , we pass by popeye restaurant , decide to have a quick bite . The restaurant serve wide variety of items ranging from burgers ,mashed potatoes , fries , chicken , calamari etc we ordered 2 set of promotional set of chicken that come with 2 pc of chicken , 1 biscult and 1 drink . with additional order of cheese fries . The chicken is very crunchy outside and the meat is tender and juicy inside and it is not oily and the fresh is white and not so bloody

We were shopping in Tampines & actually shopped till we dropped. We finally decided to go to Popeyes for dinner, since we were super hungry. Popeyes is like any other fast food joint & was very crowded. I had to wait in a queue for my turn. But the sales staff were very quick & friendly,which helped clear the queue faster.Whn my turn came, I ordered for a fish burger, some crispy chicken & mashed potato & corn as sides....off course I had coke for a drink. One thing I love so much about Popeyes is that the mashed potato is easily the BEST I’ve ever tried before. There are some bites to the potato and it really provides a bit of texture to the potato, not like the usual ones we have which are just smooth. Their fried fish is good too! Very tender.

I had 2 pieces chicken meal. The chicken was pretty good, tender and crispy if compare with Texas Chicken. It has a unique taste without being too oily. I also feet that the Fried Fish is pretty good. I liked the mashed potato, it comes bathed in a tasty brown, meat gravy that goes really well together. The gravy tastes different from the other places. Can give it a try....The corn being a little oily.

The place looks cheery and bright as the chair is decorated with orange and black chair. This is my 5th visit as I am a fan of fried chicken. The chicken is served piping hot and juicy. However, the spicy version is not as hot and spicy as i wished it was spicier. I ordered the 5 piece drumlets and it cost $3.90. The price is reasonable but the drumlets are abit small and little.

Endless queue can always be seen at Popeye Centry Square. I decided to give it a try due to the long queue. However I was quite disappointed with their food. Chicken was too dry and not juicy, serve with 'cold' french fries. Their round biscuits are too soft and tasteless. Service here was also very slow which caused the long queue. My vedict: 5.5/10

Not my prefered choice of deep-fried chickens as the meats are quite dry and tasteless. My verdict: 6/10

Looking for crispy and less oily chicken?? Why don't you try to dine in Popeye's Louisiana Kitchen!? Their chicken is so different from other fast food outlets.And there gravy is so unique..They also have the crispy fries with a wonderful flavor of Cajun Spices.My son loves their mashed potato with Cajun Gravy.And oh! Aside from chicken they also have Seafood menu.

i went there months ago, and it was the first and last time i went. well... the service wasn't really good, well and the food was kinda cold when serve. it's difficult to get seat. i mean i understand it's peak period, but somehow it turns me off. maybe some day i might go back again. hope they will improved as time goes by...

We ordered 2 piece chicken set each, and it comes with a biscuit, a side dish, and a drink. I chose the mashed potato, a friend chose the fries, and another got the coleslaw.
