 Clear Seafood Tom Yum Soup ($7.90). I was expecting some fiery Tom Yum Goong, but this was a little tad too disappointing. The spiciness level is not up to the standard, we added our own chilli padi to spice things up a little on our end. Not only that, the definition of seafood for this dish is an overstatement. Prawn and overwhelming of fish slices is the only seafood i saw, they don’t even have any cuttlefish to start with. ):

 Phad Thai. Loving their green crunchy beansprouts! Mild sweetness from the phad thai couple with the crunchy cleanly cleaned beansprouts that enhance the overall mouthfeel. The thai rice noodle is not too soggy, and good proportion with bits and pieces of fried egg and de-shelled prawns.
Food aside, one of their highly recommended drink you should try is their Ice Roselle Tea. A little icy, not to sweet yet refreshing! Definitely a good glass of drink to go with the meal.

 Upon entering, the lively colour of the restaurant ambience cheers me up.

The setting is so much different from the other Thai restaurant that I went to. Usually Thai restaurant will have very authentic setting with the monuments or statues displayed in it. But at Porn's Sexy Thai Food‏, you will not find anything like that. Instead, this Thai restaurant‏ has a very colourful setting that brings out a cheeky and playful concept. It totally suits the name of Porn's Sexy Thai Food‏.

The Tom Yum soup was available in 2 different soup base - Red / Clear.

At the look at it, it may look at some bland seafood soup. Do not be deceive by it, the tom yum soup was flavoursome. Being teamed up with chili and lemongrass, it was infused with hot and sour flavour, giving the soup a distinct taste. After finishing the small soup of tom yum soup, I could feel the burning sensation down my throat. Totally awesome.The soup was filled with generous fresh ingredients.

The prawn cake was fried to perfection and I enjoyed the crispy outer layer. The prawn cake was well seasoned with pepper in it, bringing out the enhanced flavour of the dish. It was accompanied with Thai chili sauce which gave a sweet and hot flavouring to the prawn cake.Helping myself to more of it.

A popular Thai rice noodle dish served with seafood, great to eat with a squeeze of lime, fish sauce, chili flakes, ground peanuts and sugar.

The best part is you can even control the flavour of the Pad Thai. For example, if you prefer sweet tasting, then you just mix the sugar with your Pad Thai. If you prefer spicy flavour, then you just go for the chili flakes.

We didn't make any reservation and walked in directly to their Star Vista's outlet. As it was a weekday during lunch break, it wasn't crowded. We managed to get a seat quickly.

 As there is only two of us, we ordered two simple famous Thai food.

Pratunam Fish Cake
The fish cakes go well with white rice. The prawn cake is delicious and one serving is good for two adults. Good balance and combination of fresh prawns, pepper and bread crumbs. You must dip the prawn cake in the "Pad Thai" i.e. a reddish looking sweet taste sauce. Such sauces are common in Thai street hawker in Bangkok.

I am unsure why they named it as innocent. It is definitely not innocent! Though this is the "clear" tom yum version, it is really hot and spicy!!!
 There are many different types of tom yum soup available here. You can take your time to pick the type you enjoy. The fish slice were fresh and sweet.

The thai prawn cakes $8.90 tasted average. it'll be good to share among 3. The thai style sambal kang kong $7.50 was fragrant and well cooked but I could not taste the difference between thai style and normal style. Portion was also good. The tomyum chicken soup $9.90 tasted good but I didn't like the chicken cubes in it. The soup was well spicy and sour and we finished every bit of it except the mediocre ingredients. Overall, this is worth a try.

 We had their homemade Thai Longan Tea and Lemongrass Drink as our thirst quencher for a start. They were cooling with fine ice occupying half the glass with the not-so-sweet taste. However, I would prefer a intense flavour from both the Longan and Lemongrass as they tasted abit blend to me.

 This time round, we did not stick to our usual Thai Pineapple Fried Rice and instead we had its Thai Shrimp Paste Rice. This Thai classic fried rice was the chef recommendation.  To sum up, we had spend a total of $42 for 2 pax including the taxes (Service and GST). The food there was standard fare for all Thai Restaurant, there is no one signature dishes that could really stand out. Over we find there were nothing really sexy about the restaurant.

 This was in my opinion, lacking a punch. While there were fresh ingredients like the mushrooms, fresh fish, tomatoes and cut chilli, the soup seemed to fall a bit flat. It was tangy and refreshing, but it somehow lacked body and substance. Perhaps on the good side it will sit well with those who don't like their tom yum soup too spicy? This one was a no for me.

 The fried rice seemed to taste quite home-cooked, if anything! I think it was the texture of the grain that made the rice somehow lacklustre. The fragrance however, was amazing! The smell of fried rice whets your appetite like no other, it was disappointing that the taste should fall flat. It's quite a good portion though, for slightly over $10, so i would say that you put your money where the food's worth.

 Okay I have no idea what this is but the so called 'shrimp paste' fried rice was nearly tasteless save for the hint of shrimp paste in the aftertaste. This one REALLY was a no-go for us. There was barely any flavour to speak of and perhaps it would have been better to eat this fried rice with ala carte dishes on the side. Never ordering this again!

Porn's doesn't have spectacular food, in fact, it's pretty lacklustre and you'll probably get better thai food in hawker centres but it's worth a try and great for meeting up with friends if you're not too picky about the food.

 Kicking off the meal with a appetizing soup, ordered the Tom Yum Talay (Seafood Tom Yum) - Large $12.90 and the portion was just nice for the 3 of us to share. It was served in a traditional steamboat which were widely used in the olden days with charcoal. However, it is more for that design for a rustic feel of dining in Bangkok. The Tom Yum soup had a very generous amount of ingredients like fish slices, prawns and squid as well as a variety of vegetables. This Tom Yum isn't as spicy as I thought and it is definitely worth the value of what we are paying for as each of us had a good 2 serving bowls of it.

 Being guys, we ordered something to nibble on, the Flame Grilled Pork with Homemade Dip ($9.50). As delicious as it seems, the grilled pork was nicely sliced into bite size and it was succulent and tasty to every bite. When eaten with the Homemade Dip, it added a robust flavour with the sweet, spicy and tangy flavour which was very addictive and yummy. Perfect beer snack!

 Nothing beats a good douse of curry over our steamed rice and so I ordered my favourite Gang Kaew Gai (Green Curry Chicken) - $10.90 which gave off an alluring fragrance in the air when brought to our table. The curry wasn't too diluted or overly rich, perfect to my liking! I can't help but to drench every bit of rice with luscious mouth-watering green curry. Sadly, the tender chicken slices and eggplant were a tad little to go around the 3 of us. Maybe it is just me being my favourite dish and happened to be delicious I guess.

 Coming to veg, we had the Thai Sambal Kangkong ($7.50) which was nice and crunchy with a good stir-fry flavour of garlic, sambal and dried shrimps. However, some of the thicker parts of the kangkong stem was quite hard to the bite and tasted raw. Perhaps the thicker parts should be cooked a little longer and that would be perfect.

 Washing down the dinner, I had the popular Homemade Thai Longan Tea ($3.90) which the staff has recommended me. It is an absolute cooling drink to have to clear the spice from the dishes and some longans to chew on. It didn't taste artificially sweet and the logans were really generous, filling up half a glass.

My overall experience at PORN'S was better than my previous visit at Liang Seah street and I have to say the quality of food has improved. However, the service maybe a little slow for some during busy peak hours with the dinner crowd. I'll certainly return again soon to try other dishes on the menu such as their Fried Fish with special Thai sauce!

Decided to drop by this restaurant to satisfy our Thai food cravings. The restaurant seemed spacious and airy (probably due to the high ceiling) and service seemed pretty efficient here, the food came rather quickly. The restaurant seemed spacious and airy (probably due to the high ceiling) and service seemed pretty efficient here, the food came rather quickly. We ordered pad Thai seafood ($9.90) which was served piping hot. This dish was quite decent and flavorful, as it was fried fresh and it's not fried too dry- there was some sauce in it. Definitely a great noodle dish to start with. We also ordered their special item for the day- Thai style Karii crab ($15.90)- which turned out to rather good! It was essentially a crispy soft shell crab topped with Thai style curry sauce. The sauce had a nice thick consistency that is bursting with curry flavour. It isn't too fiery spicy but it also had a hint of some Thai spices. Definitely paired well with the soft shell crab!

Finally got to try PORN'S Sexy Thai Foood after hearing some good reviews from my friends. My other friends and I went to visit the newly-opened Star Vista in Buona Vista.  Green curry with fried rice is very delicious~ And Interesting. It is sweet and spicy at the same time! It's not too heavy and you won't get sick of the taste and it is not too oily as well! The fried rice is nice too especially when eaten with the green curry.

It was my first visit to this thai restaurant in Star Vista. It had been a long time since i had thai food and I was looking forward to it. I had the pineapple fried rice together with their signature tom yum soup, and i wasn't disappointed. I particularly like it when they put cashew nuts together with the rice, giving it extra crunchiness. Their clear tom yum soup looks so harmless, but a mouthful of the soup proved me otherwise. Having been to the first outlet at Liang Seah Street 2 years back, together with the same group of friends, we went to the outlet at star vista for some sexy thai food again! I quite like the interior, it's like some atas vandalism.The Tom yum soup looks colorless but in fact it’s quite spicy! :/ The lesser the color, the more spicy. To be honest, we were slightly disappointed with the overall food experience at the star vista outlet compared to the one we had at Liang Seah. The food wasn't up to expectations from many years back. No wow factor after dining here.

this dish is awesome, the thick curry with mild sweetness and slight spiciness is really appetizing. there is also orange curry there but i personally prefer the green one! ;) The location is also just steps away from the mrt station! Very conveniently located.

But one funny thing here is they don't serve plain water to customer and they insisted that we must paid for the mineral water which cause $2 each. People with the right mind will rather go the cold storage located two levels to buy, is far so much cheaper. Well, but since i was thirsty that day, i decided to try out their thai ice tea. Erm, i can't saying that it tasted weird to me. It looks more like chinese taste with milk added to it and it costs $3.90 (without gst and service).
