This pasta consists of garlic, olive oil , bacon and chicken piece. Well cooked and good combination of ingredients. LIKE 👍

Chestnut rice not my favourite. The rice seem not ripe and dry. The aroma of rice is not strong. Possibly my first try for this dish. Hope it is a fantastic for others.

The overall place is cool and well decorated.

It is my second visit to Poulet again haha Well, tried their another version of Poulet Roti whereby the sauce is replaced with Cranberry sauce and Mustard. The Cranberry sauce itself alone was pretty flavourful, not too sweet and a tingy sourish. But sadly, I think the original sauce still beats this new version. Tried something new as appetizer and I totally love this one. The combination of feta cheese, tomatoes and sultanas totally beats me. I kept popping in the tomatoes one after another. I

We also ordered the Poulet Roti - Signature Roasted Chicken. Its creamy and the chicken was cooked so soft that one can peel the meat off easily.

Next was the Oxtail de Bourguignon (oxtail in red wine sauce) which was quite pleasant. However i am not a big fan of beef so I couldn't really appreciate it as compared to my friends.

Besides the mains, we ordered French Onion Soup and Country Side Mushroom Soup. While the onion soup turns out to be a very sweet soup, the mushroom soup is the best among the two! The latter was surprisingly tasty. One sip and you know immediately that its mushrooms.

What better way to end a meal then some dessert? We ordered Tiramisu, a hot favourite among the other patrons (we observed many people ordering it). The size and manner which it was presented makes it seem like value for money. It’s creamy, soft, and fluffy. Great for sharing.

Poulet seems like a good idea if you adore French cuisine. Do head on down to the restaurant closest to you for a taste of France.

Poulet Roti - Oh am geeee! This is sooooo good! The chicken apparently was brined for a full day in a traditional recipe then placed in the rotiserrie for a slow roast until the skin tans to a golden brown. The homemade mushroom Chardonay sauce complimented the perfectly roasted chicken! This is a definitely a MUST TRY!

Iberico Pork Belly - braised spanish Iberico pork belly served with mashed potato, leek confit and double mustard. The marriage of the mashed po, leek and mustard taste created an unforgettable savoury taste to this dish! Four thumbs up from my girl and the hubby! Another MUST TRY in my book!

Tiramisu in a mason jar - this is all i can say; It deserves all the raves from my colleague who recommended it to me. I am so happy I get to take home the mason jar too for $5!

We are definitely coming back to eat at Poulet soon! Thinking of bringing my university friends in their Bugis branch for my birthday treat.

The Saute Wild Mushrooms ($7.80) contains three types of mushrooms; Button Mushrooms, Shumeiji Mushrooms and King Oyster Mushrooms. The deep earthy flavour just simply bursts in your mouth and along with the runny poached egg with an egg yolk eager to burst once poked, it is a definite must to order if your favourite brunch items include mushrooms and poached eggs.

The “Roti” from Poulet Roti ($15.80) actually means Rotisserie. While there are quite a substantial amount of mains offered in the menu, the Poulet Roti is definitely something one should never miss when they visit Poulet. One cannot deny it’s popularity amongst the patrons; every single table occupied had a plate of Poulet Roti ordered. The Poulet Roti can be ordered as a half chicken or a whole chicken dish. What is so good about it is the marvelous combination of the honey-glazed chicken with the creamy Mushroom Chardonnay Sauce which made is so delectable. Along with the tender roasted chicken with such flavour that came off from the bones so easily, it was a dish that was simply hard to forget. Strongly recommended for anyone who had never visited Poulet before.

The Tiramisu ($7.80) is one of the stars of Poulet as well, with most people whom had visited them ordering it. The airy but creamy Mascarpone Cheese brings a light taste to the Tiramisu, while the cocoa powder adds a sweet chocolate-y goodness over the cream cheese. The cake was also nicely doused in rum and coffee, with the cake oozing out coffee with every bite yet not becoming too soft or crumbly despite absorbing all the liquid. It was one of the better Tiramisus I had ever had for now.

The Banana Bread Pudding ($6.80) was nice but not outstanding. We loved the fact it was served extremely hot, and the bread pudding was immediately able to soak up the melting Vanilla Ice-Cream served on top of the bread pudding. The taste of banana was evident, but the bread pudding was a bit too dense and stiff for out liking.

The Long Black ($3.90) certainly had a very pretty presentation as compared to other places. A much appreciated detail was that the milk that accompanied the Long Black was warmed, therefore would not decrease the temperature of the coffee if added.

There is a saying of don't judge a book by the cover. Well, I 'll say never judge a chicken by how the skin looked.
The chicken came in their special mushroom sauce and the skin taste kinda sweet like some honey roasted chicken. The meat on the otherhand, is totally not what we expected but rather the opposite. It was tender and juicy and goes well with their sauce. However, do note that the sauce given i guarantee you is not enough for the half chicken. Suggest you request for extra sauce since it wont be charged to your bill anyway.

On a side note, the Oxtail stew taste kinda like the kind of canned food braised pigs trotters which our mom would have feed us with during our childhood days during her busy day. Beef is marinated well but it is rather on the tough side and really taste like the canned food. If you prefer tender beef then I guess more or less this dish ain't gonna please you.

Service wise, somehow the server will 'forget' to give your change back once you make payment(it happened to the couple next to our table as well) and we ended up waiting aimlessly for 15minutes until we enquire again while the servers stand around doing nothing.

You would like to know that the food here isn't super-authentic though, they do have Oxtail stew, Braised Duck etc., which kind of dilutes the whole French feel of this (with that said, they play French songs which we found interesting haha).

We ordered their Half Chicken (Mushroom Sauce) at $15.80 and Cranberry Sauce ($17.80), as well as a Mash Potato side for $3.80.

The Chicken with Cranberry Sauce was extremely fruity with a slight sweetness and zest from the fruit. While the sauce was reminiscent of what would go excellently with Turkey, the mustard was a nice addition to the whole flavour. It had a sharp, distinct flavour to it (similar to horseradish!) that gave the dish character. What I liked was that the chicken wasn't dry, despite being meaty -it had been nicely grilled to a slight golden brown skin wrapping over the succulent and tender meat.

The Mushroom Sauce was a bit odd though -the sauce had this sweet flavour that reminded me of vanilla sauce. It was an interesting experience because the whole dish tasted more like a bread pudding than anything. The creaminess gave the chicken a slightly decadent finish. The sauteed mushrooms were also plump and bursting with flavour.

The chicken is above average, but the sauces were tethering on extreme ends of sweet-richness and fruity-zest. That said, it is worth a try for those who enjoy rotisserie.

The mash deserves a special mention -I would think the mash deserves a post on its own. Its creaminess leaves nothing else to be desired. The consistency of the mash is excellent -not too hard nor is it overly soft (there is enough substance in this dish). It's neither too sweet and milky, nor is it ridiculously savoury. This is honestly one of the most impressive mashed potatoes i've had!

Other than mash, they have other sides such as fries, potato au gratin and baguette! Service here is really good too, they are relatively attentive, and recommended us to take a look at the dessert menu (but we were unfortunately full by then). Definitely recommending this place to anyone who's looking for a casual hangout with decent service and food. (It was odd to me though, that the mash was the highlight of my dinner!)

Poulét serves an array of French cuisines at affordable prices. Poulét Roti aka the French Roast Chicken is their signature dish and goes well with their creamy home-made Fresh Button Mushroom Chardonnay sauté or rich home-made Cranberry sauce and Double Mustard. Also worth mentioning is their mash potato which is very rich and flavourful and their mushroom soup (though portion is a bit small).

I quick check of the background of this place shows that it is opened by the Thai Express company. The waiters there are aplenty but they seem to have a limited command of English Language. Yet, this did not deter them from serving the customers with the best service. They were very prompt in their service and you can easily catch one of them lingering around, ready to serve you.

I ordered their signature Poulét Roti (Half, $15.80. Whole, $28.80). Ordered the Whole one to share with my peer as it was cheaper than getting the half version. The roasted chicken was juicy and palatable even when eaten on its own without the sauce. But if you dip a small piece of it into the rich and luscious mushroom cream sauce, it achieves a much better taste! I like that they did not use the canned button mushroom and you could see the whole bit of it. The raw vegetable provided also helps in decreasing the saltiness of the sauce if one feels that it is too salty. This is definitely an arm workout as you'll want to carve out every single piece of chicken meat on this piece of chicken, it is simply too good. This chicken has also broken my rule of not eating the chicken skin! This definitely proves how wonderful it is!

We also ordered the Banana Bread and Butter Pudding, $6.80. I have converted to being a banana lover after tasting this. The taste was not overwhelming and was definitely a good dessert to have after the meal. It left a pleasant taste of this delicious and healthy fruit at every spoonful.

I love that this place is very affordable and the service is good. Not only that, the food is sensational as well! I will definitely recommend this place if you want to try some French cuisine.

The outlet at Vivo feels very new, and the service is quite good. There was a lack of crowd on a weekday afternoon, maybe due to its "hidden" location away from the atrium.

I came here dinner with my friend. I had the Baby Lamb Meal. I find that their portion was quite huge, so after few bites we really feel full. The lamb meal was very soft, tender yet chewy, I think they cooked for several hours. The sauce was nice and thick too, we also had their Tiramisu in a Jar, it tasted not bad! The price was average, food wise quite good with huge portions, so I think it's worth the money.
