Went for a birthday celebration with good friends. We ordered some of their signature dishes and their fish dish was the one that left an impression. The fish was fried very well to give it an utterly crispy texture and not oily at all. The fish was served with some sauce and it is recommended to dip the meat in those sauce before eating it. The fish is not too big but good enough to be shared if order other dishes too. continue reading

This place has simple decoration with Chinese element to it. The total cost of the buffet was $24.95 per pax after GST & service charge. You need at least 2 people to have the Dim Sum buffet. The menu wasn't that comprehensive but good enough as their Dim Sum dishes was surprisingly nice. It is comparable to the Dim Sum serve at Yum Cha.You will be served with this as your starter. It was quite nice! The Siew Mai here wasn't too meaty as prawn was added in the Siew Mai. If you aren't a meat lover, this Siew Mai here will please you.The Glutinous Rice in Leaf was one of the dish that 'WOW' me away. It looked rather plain when served but once I cut it into half and tasted it, it was marvelous! It was fragrance, delicious, and the filling in it added a lot of marks to the Glutinous Rice! One of the best Glutinous Rice I had.Another must have is the BBQ Pork Bun! The BBQ Pork was juicy. Thus, when you split the bun into half the filling just melted out. Simply nice!Pan-Fried Carrot Cake was flagrance, the layer outside was crispy and the inside was soft.Fried Beancurd Shrimps Roll and Shrimps Dumpling with Salad were crispy. But the Shrimps Dumpling with Salad stand out from the Fried Beancurd Shrimps Roll as the salad in it was refreshing and made the overall dish tasted less oily.Do check out this Dim Sum Buffet if you are looking for not so overwhelming Dim Sum spread. continue reading

Prosperous Kitchen at west coast outlet has a vintage tradition chinese theme. Which have a very nice ambience while I enjoy my dim sums. It was my first time eating dim sum buffet. A peak at the chef making dim sums upstairsFor starters, I had steamed peanut on my table(which I didn't order & cost $2), but it tasted great though. The I started placing my orders on the order sheet which you have to fill it up by yourself. The waitress was really helpful in recommending and introducing the dishes to me. I didn't have to wait too long for my orders to come and all the dim sums were exquisite. It was very fulling to eat dim sum buffet compare to other buffets like japanese. Overall, majority of the dishes had shrimp, so if you are a shrimp lover like me. This buffet is a must EAT!Har Gao(left) & Fried Beancurd Skin with Shrimp(right)Shrimp & Mango Roll(left) & Yam Puff(right)Sharp Fin Dumpling(left) & Pork Spare Ribs(right)Carrot cake(left), fried shrimp dumpling(middle) & Char Shao Siew(right)Lotus Pau with salted egg continue reading

Affordable dinning experience at this cosy chinese restaurant. We went for the buffet dinner at $19.80+ per pax during weekdays. We tried out some of their signature dishes like Crisp Fried Prawns with Salad Cream, Pork Chop in Sweet Vinegar Sauce, Sweet & Sour Pork, Sliced Fish with Ginger & Onion etcOther than the main dishes, i did enjoy the Fish Maw Broth with Crab Meat and also have Chilled Almond Beancurd with Longan for dessert. The only complaint is the foods tasted a little too salty. I will definitely come back for more. continue reading
