Tried the bubble tea of this shop but it didn't really give any special or unique taste. I had also tried this new dessert (which is also in the NTU branch) The grass jelly was quite smooth and gave a unique texture. The "fen yuan" as nice as well but I think they gave a bit little. haha and there's red bean too! Anyway it is nice to top it up with the cream to give a milky taste. continue reading

I recently discovered this BBT shop and fell in love with the hazelnut milk tea! I am not a fan of the signature milk tea though. Most of the flavours tasted kind of weird in my opinion so I usually stick to ordering the hazelnut flavour. You can also choose the desired sugar level that you want. Apart from KOI and Gong Cha, this shop sells the same Taiwan Bubble Tea. I have been loyal to this brand until KOI & Gong Cha came along. What makes me stick to this shop is their loyalty card. You'll get a free drink once you've finishgetting all the chops.ServiceMost of the baristas are from China so for those non-chinese speakers, you'll have to mime out the things or just have your chinese friends with you or ask them to write it on a piece of paper but probably half of them can speak simple english. Today, however, I was served by an english speaking barista. He was prompted and friendly (the ahbeng-ish kind of way). They do deliver as well but only to a nearby area. While waiting for your drinks to be ready, be entertained by the choice of music played. Prices $$Drinks are from $1.30 - $6.20.I got myself a cup of regular milk tea that cost $2.30 & strawberry smoothie that cost $4.50.They do ask for your preference in sugar level, with or without pearl and size of your drink. RatingI'm cool with this place as it is convenient to come here so I give it 4/5.Currently, they only have one outlet. The one in bedok is close. They did mentioned they were going to open one in hougang area but I'm not sure if it's open yet.Other varietiesCheck out the pictures. continue reading
