Qi Le Chicken Rice - S11 (Closed)

My favorite chicken rice in the Ang mo kio area. It comes with a bowl of soup that has peanuts! It is sweet and they are generous with the soup. The chicken is very tasty and I also drip some dark soya sauce on the chicken rice. For seating, it can be quite hot and staffy. I've visited once on a weekday lunch and swore never to come back again and only during dinners or rainy days do I get my dose of chicken rice.The store front and you can see the line of people queueing up for chicken rice on

It was a long time since we last visit the store. The rice and chicken remains tasty except that the soup is no longer chicken feet peanut soup but it is chicken bones peanut soup. Still free flow of soup. We ordered the usual half chicken and two big bowl of the soup and some organs and bean spouts. All in all we finished the half chicken, bean spouts and organs plus 4 big bowls of the peanuts soup.  

Though this is not the best chicken rice but their chicken rice set comes with a free bowl of lotus root with peanuts soup. Their chicken rice tasted just average. The crunchy bean sprouts make this a healthy meal. The rice did not have much taste. Their chilli is too diluted too. The soup is very nice with a lot of peanuts taste. This stall does not have a queue at all.

I really like to frequent this stall for the generous serving of the chicken rice! Even as you take away the chicken rice, the auntie will also take away 1 huge container of the peanut ribs soup as well. Though I find that the soup is salty too salty for my liking but it was one of the few stalls I know of that actually complimented soup when you take away. At $3.50 per packet, it may be a tad expensive but I love how fragrant the chicken rice was and that the chicken was tender and not too oily

I like to go ang mo kio s11 to eat this chicken rice. The main reason is because the big bowl of soup. They always give a big bowl and many peanuts inside. It is really nice to have this soup to eat with chicken rice. The price is reasonable too. Just $3.50 can eat the chicken rice and another plate of fresh chicken and some tauge. The chicken also very delicious and less bone.

The main highlight of chicken rice from this stall is the free soup of the day given with the chicken rice set. I usually ordered the de-boned chicken drumstick with the livers added and rice for $4.50. This came with a big bowl of nicely boiled peanuts soup. The taste of their roasted chicken was tender and juicy though it might not be the best but that big bowl of soup made it worth the value. The rice cooked to grainy and have got a slight chicken soup taste. A satisfying meal.

S-11 Chicken Rice, Thats the name for me and my housemate called for the awesome chicken rice ! It is consider slightly costly then outside chicken rice whick is $2.50. This is the stall that i have my fix for chicken rice in Ang Mo Kio area. Their roasted chicken might not be the best tasting one but i do enjoy the serving of a big bowl of lotus roots and peanuts soup with the order of chicken rice. That big bowl of soup is served free. Such a bowl of soup complemented the meal and perfected it. They served the chicken on a side plate and the rice in a bowl. Another reason for me to keep coming back gotta be their chilli sauce. This was my first time having chicken rice in this food centre on a Saturday afternoon.This food centre was unusually quiet as compared to the hawker centre nearby. I decided to order a set of roasted chicken rice. I liked how they served the rice in a bowl and placed the serving of the roasted chicken on a generous pile of bean sprouts on a separate plate. The set came with a big bowl of peanuts soup for $4.50.It might sounded a little pricey for such a set of chicken rice in a non-aircon food

Came here during late morning time 11+am , Not many customers at that moment, .environment was quite clean, service was average.Ordered The rice with separate plate of chicken and soup cost around $3+, quite standard pricing of a decent plate in other place.The fragrant of the rice is adequate and quantity decent quantity. The chicken is tender and crispy for the skin texture and the breast meat as well. Chilli sauce was quite spicy, try not to put too much .overall: quite happy with the chicken
