QQ Rice is my go-to spot for some wholesome, cleansing foodie goodness. Established in Taiwan in 1988, they have grown to encompass more then 300 franchises globally. Their signature rice rolls are well-loved, especially amongst vegetarians. To cater to a diverse market, they also have meat products.Begin creating your customizable rice roll by choosing from a range of various rices. I opted for the Mixed Grain option. You then choose five unique ingredients to be added as the fillings for your roll. Take your pick from a wide variety of both vegetarian and non-vegetarian options. Some of my favourites are mashed potatoes, corn, and various types of chicken. Certain ingredients are labelled as premium items, and are priced accordingly.QQ Rice also carries a range of rice-based beverages, which are not only healthy, but also delicious and refreshing on a hot day. Overall, QQ Rice offers fuss-free, wholesome lifestyle options for busy individuals on the go. Their unrivalled variety ensures you never run out of options and combinations!

Honey English Tea was very refreshing with the generous amount of honey syrup in it and the English tea used is thick and fragrant as well. The Emperor Veg rice dumpling is covered with healthy non salty seaweed wrap and the rice is very fragrant and chewy. For merely $4 for this meal, is value for money. The dining environment is small and uncomfortable but service was quite helpful and nice.

Another healthy option for the health junkies! A 'fast-food' chain (all ingredients are already prepared beforehand) which sells realty rice roll, porridge, drinks and pudding.There are six types of healthy rice grains to choose from, each type with different health properties and texture. I tried the purple rice and it was really 'QQ' with the toothsome chewiness. One rice roll ($4.50) was already quite filling for a meal as all the rice grains have low glycemic index which, unlike refined white rice, would not cause sugar spike.For the toppings of rice roll, one can choose up to five toppings from a wide array of ingredients ranging from meat, floss, to mock vegetarian meat and vegetables. For a smaller QQ rice, one can buy a snack roll which are already pre-mixed. Tried the Spicy Ikan Bilis ($2.80). The spiciness was appetizing while the rice was a mixture of purple rice and mixed grains. Price might have been a bit steep for just a small rice roll while one could have bought a proper plate of Mixed Vegetables Rice with three to four side dishes. But the rice grains are costly which explains the price. Drinks-wise, they offer a variety of healthy options such as Matcha SoyMilk, Purple rice Soy and Mulberry Tea.For a healthy quick grab for take-away, QQ rice definitely would be a great choice for a filling wholesome meal!

Wanted something healthy and so I got QQ Rice for dinner. I ordered normal white rice with the following ingredients: Japanese seaweed, tuna, smoked chicken, braised egg, and red bean. I think it is important you choose the right ingredients cause it can either make or break the dish with the different flavours incorporated by the different ingredients. For me, I always get these ingredients and it is enough to fill my stomach with the more than ample portion.If you want, you can also eat it on the go since it is wrapped up quite tightly into a roll. Be careful though as it is quite hot to hold since the rice are like kept in this containers which keeps them very warm.

Had bought this mini rice dumpling $2.00 and also a cup of this brown rice drink $0.50 from this outlet. The rice is very soft and fragrant. I side is filled woth crunchy carrot slices and chewy seaweeds. Is totally not oily and light for a small diet. The brown rice drink is cooling and not too sweet as well. With the goodness of brown rice content inside, this is definitely good for everyone. Service was fast and the shop is clean.
