QQ Soya Bean set up a stall at the Singapore Food Festival! That is the first time that I tried their version of the "new" beancurd. As usual, people would compare every other brand of the new beancurd to Lao Ban's version. I think this QQ Soya Bean is in a different league altogether - while its texture is somewhat the same, the taste is not. The soya element is much more pronounced in here. The soya element is much more pronounced in here. They also market themselves as putting no preservatives and a healthier choice. It is also less sweet. For a sweet tooth like me, it is definitely less advantageous in keeping my interest. Nevertheless, it is still enjoyable because it is chilled and also knowing that it is a healthier choice, I feel better eating it too. At $2 a bowl, more expensive than others at $1.50.

QQ SOYABEAN is the best beancurd I ever tried. It's made of SOYABEAN whereby they make an effort to grind it (unlike other stalls using CHINA POWER ). Also.. The texture of the beancurd is v smooth & melts in your mouth (AMAZING)! Not to forget.. Its healthier choice!! It's v hard to find food that is both healthy & delicious! But QQ SOYABEAN manage to reach both goals! Hence I strongly recommend everyone to give a try to this stall! Good food is worth trying! Stop following people blindly & tru

Lots of stalls attempt to ride on Lao Ban's success. This one is no different. But they all seem insufficiently distinguishable from Lao Ban in terms of the type of things they sell. QQ Soya Bean attempts to set itself apart by claiming to use only GMO beans etc. But in terms of flavour, this one has the most soya taste amongst all. It's less smooth however and faces the same problems of inconsistent quality.

These new pudding-form of soya beancurds are making waves in Singapore, casting away the old traditional kinds (whereby you've got to add syrup on pieces of soya beancurds) in the shadows. After trying these new-age soya beancurds, I'm now a convert. Of the many stalls in the market selling these, I'd say QQ Soya Bean serves one of the better ones. Here's a list of their current locations and contact number.$1.50 for original flavour$2.00 for almond flavour The soya beancurd is very soft and silky

$1.50 for original flavour
$2.00 for almond flavour

The soya beancurd is very soft and silky, even tilting the bowl slightly sideways makes the beancurd all wobbly, leaning to one side. Scoop it with a little more force and you may just crush the dessert. It is light, refreshing and not too sweet, with a clear soyabean taste (esp the original version). Best served chilled, the dessert glides down the throat without even having to chew.

There is a "Healthier Choice" logo printed on their packaging. The dessert can be kept for up to 3 days if chilled in the fridge, so whenever I drop by the stall, I'd buy a few more for more indulgence!

I decided to try out the almond flavor as i felt like eating it. The almond flavor was good - not too strong or mild and best of all it is not diluted like some other almond beancurd i have tried. Furthermore , the sweetness is just right - at least for me . The texture is super soft and silky . It will crush if you used too much strength to scoop it. Whether it is crushed or not, it still tastes good. Best consume chilled .

First time trying this QQ Soya Beancurd, I found this not bad. First bite, it was really silky soft on the inside. When you scoop it, it very smooth on the surface and looked like jelly. It would slide down the throat once it enters your mouth. The beancurd texture was soft and light. The taste was just right, not too sweet.

Took away a few of this Soya Bean. I personally liked this bean curd as it really tasted good. It looked like jelly like on the surface but dig on! You will notice that it is really silky soft on the inside! The moment you let it slip into your mouth, it is just perfect! I can savour the whole bowl by myself within minutes! Of course it can't be compared to Lao Ban beancurd. But this is another alternative!

This is the Soya Bean that is very famous and is marked as the top 5 bean curd in Singapore.Personally i really liked this bean curd not because it is in the trend now but because it really taste good. It looks very smooth on the surface and when you scoop it up, it is really silky, soft and tender bean curd! Savor in the moment! shiok! You must eat it when it's cold then it will taste super nice! (: And this is not very sweet unlike other bean curd that other stalls are selling out there.
