It's quite oily (chili oil) but really yummy to go with rice.. they are also quite generous with each serving compared to those mala shops at foodcourts.
They havea  few stalls within people's park hawker center.. we always visit the 1 right at the end (more tasty we feel).
Beware.. on weekends, queue is longer and sauce not as tasy.. so try to go on weekdays! )

The Ma la here is really good! I only ordered xiao la (low spiciness) and it was just nice! Ordered all these and it just cost $10.50 including 3 rice bowls shared among my friends. You can pick and choose the ingredients yourselves at $1 each for vegetables and $2 for meat

It's something like Mala Hot Pot in a Yong Tau Fu style, with a nice spicy chilli gravy. You get to choose the ingredients you want to add to your bowl — ranging from different kinds of meat and vegetables. The ingredients were all fresh and covered with that lovely chili gravy. The lady will ask you about your spiciness levels so don't worry too much I went with medium and it was just right for me! It's hard to gauge the pricing as it differs. The lady will ask you about your spiciness levels so don't worry too much I went with medium and it was just right for me! It's hard to gauge the pricing as it differs. For my family of 4, we ordered a bowl of ingredients (I.e. Chicken, beef, Chinese sausage, various vegetables, tofu...) which cost us $13, along with 4 bowls of rice which were $0.50 each.

I love this place as I am able to choose my ingredients and the sauce is just amazing. Love it. Also, the idea of a 'dry pot' is unique and does open up the cuisine of China in Singapore here. Pretty affordable too for hawker food
