Mandarin Orange Flavour - The mandarin orange flavour was apparent throughout the swiss roll, the cake was fluffy and and the cream, with the zest from the flesh of the fruit was such a lovely combination!

Here's a frontal shot of my favourite flavour, out of the 3 which I bought! Really love this!

Durian - All time favourite for durian lovers, as the durian taste was strong and aromatic, but yet went well with the cream. Real bits of the durian also upped its overall value!

Coffee flavour - hints of coffee filled the roll, but would taste nicer if it were to be slightly stronger.

Overall, I did like the 3 flavours, but the mandarin orange flavour really worked the best for me! I loved its fragrance and the fluffiness of the cake. Definitely one of the best swiss rolls in Singapore, and I will be back to try the kaya (and buy another one of the Mandarin Orange Flavoured swiss roll!)

I love it when my sister brings home these delicious Swiss rolls!! So small and yet so awesome!! The kaya swiss roll is what the rich & good bakery is famous for... however, I found the kaya pretty bland.. it wasn't as sweet as the strawberry swiss roll.. I mean, even the kaya spread for my bread tastes more "kaya-ish" than this.. but it is a very soft swiss roll
and I still enjoyed it.. But I would definitely get more strawberry roll next time!!

Since, takeaways are a must at Rich & good bakery, they provide you with really long boxes to accomodate the swiss rolls and don't forget to visit them again!!
I need more strawberry swiss rolls in my life!

I was in bugis area and my colleague brought me along to join the queue for the swiss roll cakes at Rich & Good cake shop as she claims that the cakes there are very good. The layer of kaya filling is also generous so you can taste the richness of the kaya in every bite. Pictured here is one portion of the cake (we cut it into six portions).

This bakery is super famous for their swiss rolls and I didn't manage to get their Pandan Kaya flavour the previous visit as they were all sold out! Surprisingly, when I walk in today around mid afternoon, they just freshly baked many rolls of the kaya flavour! I was sooooo happy and immediately ordered! I also bought the chocolate roll for myself and durian flavour which I gave to my aunt! I couldn't wait and chilled it immediately once I got home. The log can be divided into about 10 pieces a

The mango swiss roll wasnt as good, as I didnt quite like the mango bits in it, it tasted slightly sweet for me. The chocolate roll was surprisingly very yummy, very rich chocolate taste and yet not too sweet! The swiss rolls here may be slightly more expensive compared to those in other bakeries, but they are definitely worth the price! The place is a bit difficult to find, but there is no stopping me for the love of good food! Love the old school feel of the shop!

The swiss rolls here are always selling like hotcakes and you get nothing if you are there too late! Next up on my to-try list is the orange and green tea flavour!

This is my first time trying the Mandarin Orange swiss rolls which I thought was average. Anyway, I find that the standard of the swiss rolls went down compared to the first time I had them. Still, I will go back again to get their signature Kaya Swiss Rolls!

Walking pass this blue and white coloured traditional shop house, one can see rows of trays around. Rich & Good Cake Shop is a very well known shop, specializing in swiss rolls. Prices range from $6.50 to $7.50 for different flavours. One of the popular flavour is the Kaya Swiss Roll which costs $7.50. The roll is sold uncut as to prevent the roll from lossing its shape. It wrapped with plastic wrap, before packing into a long box. The roll is quite soft with the sweet and rich kaya filling.

Rolls were good especially when they were chilled. We was told by the lady that no preservatives were added. Out of the four flavours tried, I will say that what I like best is the kaya's flavour. The cold layer of cream that was rolled up between the kaya roll definitely packed a strong fragrance like the yellow durian swiss rolls. It was filled with lots of durian fresh and durian lovers out there, this is a must try!
Cost: Kaya - S$7.50
Durian - S$7.50

Chocolate flavour swiss roll was dark brown in color and was filled with some cream in between. It tastes not as sweet like the usual swiss rolls I had and instead, chocolate tastes bitter. Strawberry Swiss Roll was pretty pink in color and comes with strawberry jam and bits of strawberry in it.
Cost: Chocoloate - S$6.50
Strawberry - S$6.50

I didnt even take a second look and headed into the pantry. I took the knife, cut and distribute the roll equally as told. Mistakenly assumed that it was a pandan swiss roll until I had a closer look at the box, it was actually kaya flavour.

I took one of the slices and pop it into my mouth immediately. To my surprised it give me a very different feel and jumped in joy. Boy! It was just too good to be true and way above my expectation! Without further ado, I text some of the close colleagues to gather at my place and share the goodies.

The chilled homemade kaya cake once bitten had given me a burst of sensual pleasures that I haven't come across on any cakes so far. The cakes are far more than fluffy with the spongy layers rolled up forming a nice sweet swirls by the sides. Taste of kaya swiss rolls were heavenly, rich and good as what the cake shop name is, something to die for.

This shop specializes in swiss rolls. I bought a kaya flavoured one to try and found it very novel. This is very unlike a regular swiss roll in terms of taste and texture. For one the roll cake is very very soft and moist which is a plus point. It is also barely sweet unlike most cakes. Also the filling is not cream but a kaya custard style filling that is harder in consistency. A good try! Only $7.50 per roll This place specializes in swiss rolls hence swiss rolls were the only item tried.

My friend got me a swiss roll from Rich & Good Cake Shop, which is very famous for its swiss rolls. I tried the green tea flavoured one. It has red bean bits within the cream. However, I don't really like it as there's no green tea taste, and the cream tastes a little oily and buttery. I would recommend the kaya flavoured one and the mango flavoured one which has real mango bits within.

Finally had the opportunity to try the kaya flavoured swiss roll from Rich & Good. Previously, I've tried the mango one which was good, but I think the kaya one is more unique and one of their bestsellers. The different shades of green of the chiffon and the kaya cream is appealing, and the colouring doesn't look too artificial. I liked the kaya one as it is not too sweet, and the kaya taste is distinct but not so strong as to be too jelat.
