This is one of the most popular Prawn Mee in Singapore. And, they have been in business for a relatively long time. For the price of $5.00, you will get 3 pieces of pork ribs and 3 really fresh prawns in the superb flavorful soup, i always finished it all and always wanting more. I like the dry version, mixed well with chilli and the dry spring onion, and added a considerable amount of dry chilli powder to enhance the taste further. Some like to add the dry chilli powder to the soup too but i think is not necessary as the soup itself is already full of flavor. I have a special love for the pork ribs, the really soft meat have little effort to come off the bone.

The waiting time can be intense especially during the lunch time, and finding an empty table can be an issue too. But well, if you manage to find a table, a good way to pass time while waiting for your prawn mee to be served is to order their home made fish cakes to eat and wait. You can order a cup of coffee to go with it then the waiting time can be less torturing.

You have a whole list of different variations to choose from. You can have your Prawn Mee with different ingredients like intestine, pig tails and others.
