Roasted Delight - Koufu

I have been to to the Koufu at West Mall many times, but I have never tried the Lemon Chicken Rice there. I like lemon chicken rice, so I decided to get a plate of that. When I saw the food, looking at the colour of the chicken, I knew it wouldn't be that nice. As expected, it didn't turn out good. The chicken was very little, mostly fats, and it was very artificial. Today, I went to West Mall for lunch with my Mum-in-law. It was not yet noon, so the place wasn't packed. I ordered a bowl of Roast Chicken Noodle from this particular stall. It was $3.50 per plate, cheaper as compared to Kopitiam. The noodle was neither Q not soggy. Not too bad. The chicken breast was not dry, pretty tender. The best was the soup. It has carrot, radish and cabbage, tasty but not due to too much MSG. The stall sells rice with roast/white chicken, roast duck, char siew, roast meat or chicken cutlet. A great variety. …Read More
