Frankly, I am not too fancy about Rojak unless shared with somebody, I cannot finish it up by myself. Making a good Rojak is tedious and required a fair skill.Having Rojak over here, the ingredients given were generous. Topped with freshly Ground Peanuts, it came with mix of Fried Dough, Pineapples, Tau Pok, Cucumbers and Pears. Tossing in a special dark Prawn Paste, its taste was delectable. The Rojak here successfully accepted by youngsters, who prefer stronger and complex flavour. Only $2.50 for a plate of Rojak, we shared and enjoyed. continue reading

Ordered a plate of rojak to share here and it was quite good! Love that it was well mixed and the portion was pretty generous as well! There is also pieces of dried crisy cuttlefish sprinkled on top with a super generous sprinkling of grounded peanuts! Love that the flavours and taste mixed well together! The you tiao in the rojak was super crispy and the pineapple and radish was pretty fresh as well!! Recommended! and its cheap! continue reading

We wanting something extra and Rojak from this particular stall seemed to be an ideal choice. The smallest portion is at $3.00, followed by $4.00 and $5.00. The pricing seemed to be a little on the high side especially in a non air-conditioned coffee shop. The serving of $3.00 was quite substantial. The usual ingredients like you tiao, tau pok, turnip, pineapple, cucumber, bean sprouts are nicely mixed with the prawn paste. It tasted a little spicy with a hint of sourness from the lime. A generous amount of grounded peanuts was added to it. The disappointment has to be the soggy you tiao and tau pok as they did not have it toasted to give it the crispiness. continue reading
