Signature Dishes
Coffee bun $1.50The exterior of the coffee bun ($1.50) was crisp and crumbly while the interior was soft, moist, with butter which gave it the slight salty and fragrant flavour. Even though it was kept for hours before it was eaten, the quality was still there and it still tasted yummy. The coffee flavour was present and tasted sweet even though it was not strong. Definitely worth a try!

Roti mum is undoubtedly the best coffee bun in singapore. One cannot simply resist the aroma of the coffee buns when you walk past the shop @ Imm. Even if you are a few shops away, the smell is really strong! Personally, i really love coffee hence this coffee bun has always been my favourite. Roti mum has many different flavours such as chocolate, oat buns but their signature bun is the coffee bun Although i had tried other flavours, but i still love their coffee bun the most! The buns are usually really fresh from the oven, soft and have butter on the inside. The coffee bun is priced at $1.30 and there is a promo of buy 5 get 1 free @$6.50 . (Not really sure about the pricing though)Really recommended for coffee lovers!

When I hear about Roti Mum it never fails to tickle me silly because it reminds me of the few other variations which I have heard of last time, like Roti Boy.Anyway when one passes by this stall, it is difficult to not catch whiffs of coffee breads cooking in the background! It tempts one to buy one immediately and savour it while it is hot out of the oven. I bought the original flavour one ($1.50) and it was still warm. The bread is a bit crumbly with a bit of a chewy, somewhat fluffy and yet dense texture. The bun does not have a very strong coffee taste, it is just right, not too overwhelming. I like that at the centre of the bread there is this layer of butter-like filling which adds flavour to the bun. It’s a good combination and one of my all-time snacks.

I was walking by and the aroma of the coffee buns enticed me into queuing and buying a few of the buns back home. The coffee buns smells really good when the person is packing them into the paper bags. I forgot to take a photo of the interior of the bread, but it is quite large like the previous review photos. The bun is crispy on the exterior and soft and fluffy in the interior. The bread is both a combination of sweet and salty (with the butter) with a hint of coffee flavour and it is really good. A perfect match of tastes. Definitely worth having seconds!

I have not eaten the coffee bread from Roti Mum for a long time and hence decided to buy one for myself after shopping at Giant. I got a fresh new batch which is warm to the touch and smells really good. When I bite into the bun, I was instantly hit by the strong coffee taste. It is not bitter at all, but instead is slightly sweet and the butter filling inside the bread just melts in your mouth. I enjoyed eating it a lot.
