Amidst the industrial estate in Tai Seng, you find a stretch of F&B choices. Round 8, being a healthy option amongst the rest, stands out immediately!Priding themselves in cold pressed juices, DIY foods, wraps, salads, and yogurt parfaits. They also provide delivery services for those working hard at their office desk job and want something healthy!1. Thai Rib eye $9.90So once you know what you want to get, you have to choose between tortilla wraps (original, spinach or tomato & basil), then choose a protein, (beef, chicken, fish, turkey bacon, seafood or mushroom), then choose your condiments and lastly, choose a dressing from a wide variety of homemade sauces.I picked, tomato & basil, mushrooms, couscous, pasta salad, mango salsa along with the thai mayo which was recommended for my thai rib eye.It was a delightful combination. I enjoyed every bite. Filled with tasty goodness! I highly recommend trying the thai rib eye! Although I might want to ask for a hard boiled eye rather than a egg wrap. They even provide umbrellas for the convenience of customers!Their prices are reasonable too, the wraps/salads are priced around $6-8 and their cold pressed juices are $5.50 each or at $5 for a top up with a wrap/salad.2. Absolute Beauty $5.50The main ingredients were watermelon, grape & lemon. Advertised to improve heart health, improve blood flow, anti-inflammatory, antioxidant, reduce asthmatic event and prevent migraines. That's one very promising bottle of juice. At least the from the content of the drink I can indeed tell that it is cold pressed, as the fibres are not separating themselves in the bottle.3. Yogurt Parfait $4.20The staff highly recommended the nutella one and so I got it. It was filled with granola on the top, and then big round grapes in the center which took up most of the cup, and then a layer of thick nutella and the yogurt at the bottom. I personally feel that for $4.20, it's priced a bit steep, but it is a yummy dessert to go with your salad! The staff were very friendly and helpful in recommending items to be added into our lunches. All in all, I love this place and the concept! Eating healthy doesn't always have to be expensive! continue reading
