Ru Yi Traditional Steamboat is a new restaurant in Boat Quay. They used the traditional Chinese copper pot. My friend has dine there for many times and she recommended this place to me.That day, I tried their Yuanyang Hotpot. The Yuanyang Hotpot contains of spicy soup and mutton soup. Both of the soup bases are fresh and yummy.We also tried the special of the day, eel slice. The slice is so tasty and it goes so well with the spicy soup.Our favorite dish of the day is the lamp slice and the beef slice. The meat are so fresh and we keep having more and more.This restaurant is new and the service is good. Most importantly, their ingredients are so fresh. I recommend this place to you!

Ru Yi Traditional Steamboat serves steamboat that has a history of more than 1,000 years. Originated in Mongolia, where the main ingredient was beef and mutton, it then spread to southern China during the Tang Dynasty and was further established during the Mongolian Yuan Dynasty.
In time, regional variations developed with different ingredients such as seafood, eventually extending its popularity throughout most of the world.
