Signature Dishes
There was a long queue when i came for lunch at this food centre. I decided to join in out of the curiousity. I waited for about 20 minutes to order. A basic bowl of fish soup consists of a good portion of thick sliced fish. The fish tasted really fresh with a distinct natural sweetness detected. It was served in clear tasting soup with only a slight peppery taste together with vegetable. This is one of the healthier alternative for lunch.

Another day of do not know what to eat. I spotted a queue right in front of this stall and i decided to join in.I ordered the smaller portion of sliced fish soup with rice. The soup was rather clear with a slight peppery taste. The sliced fish were in rather big slices and quite a generous few pieces. The fish tasted really fresh. There was a generous amount of vegetable and chinese dried seaweed to make it a healthier choice. I enjoyed dipping the sliced fish into the soya sauce then eat together with rice. A satisfying lunch with no guilt feeling. Recommended.

I started queuing at 1 pm but I only get to order my food at 1.35 pm. I wouldn't say the queue is terribly long. I think the boss and assistant's service are quite slow and there are only 2 fish pots cooking at one time. The lady assistant often puts up a long face as if implying that she is very tired or she is not feeling well whenever she observes the long line of customers queuing. The fish is relatively big (as compared to other slice fish stalls) and fresh and the soup is sweet. I ordered the $4.50 big bowl since I queued for such a long time. They are open from Mon - Fri (7.30 am - 2 pm) only.
