The asari clam pasta soup. This is really good for thus price. The soup is not too salty, and the mushrooms inside was a good complementary to the clams.. although it was only $6, but the clam serving was generous! The spaghetti was a little hard though but overall it is a very nice dish. The panna cotta was delicious. But the sauce was a bit too sweet and the body was too firm with too much vanilla taste. The Italian Restaurant Saizeriya was one of the 12 participating restaurants.Diners with Liang Court's Wednesdays' Food Trail Coupon can get to try the US Sirlion Steak (U.P. $11.90) with Salad and Free-flow Drink Bar (U.P. $3.90).The amount of food served with this coupon was astonishing. So generous! There was even a plate of rice! The salad which was served almost immediately after I had ordered the food.The US Sirloin Steak was average. It was the most expensive on Saizeriya's menu. I felt that the steak was a tad too dry and hard. The portion of the serving was big considering the price.So far I have tried the set meals at two participating outlets. I am impressed by the portions. I would have expected that the servings would likely be 'downsized'. But well, I was wrong. I am glad that the serving was the same as what a normal customer (without coupon) would have been served. After a mad fun run at fort canning, we wanted to head to song fa bak kut teh but the queue was just a nightmare. even if two stores just a stone's throw away from each other. and this was at 8pm at night. we weren't about to wait.Someone then suggested Saizeriya over at liang court. it's been a long time since I've last stepped into Saizeriya so why not then? I made an order for a pecorino pork pasta. or so i thought.This was just garlic bacon pasta though.Which i topped with tonnes of cheese powder. made it too dry with my cheese but I loved it anyway. I can settle my lunch at Saizeriya for just $10 and below. I ordered the baked chicken steak lunch set, which comes with my main, rice, salad and free flow of drinks . I find the main serving was a bit small but it was acceptable, as considering the price I pay for was only $8.90. However the chicken was soft and tender, I like the skin most as it was thin and crispy. Lastly, they do not charge GST and service charge at all.…查看更多
