Went with my friends to Sazeriya for dinner as we are around Orchard area. We wonder whether the food is good as there were super long queue. We tried a few side dishes togther with our mains. Escargots were not nice at all, full of garlic but the escargot were so tiny Beef stew was not that nice either. Beef cubes were too tough & I need to chew very hard Squid Ink Spaghetti was not too bad, pretty decent portion & is cheap. My friends ate salmon set & chicken set & they mentioned was quite ok. We all top up extra $3 for a bowl of salad & free flow of drinks (can choose from soft drinks to tea/coffee). Overall, do not have too much or high expectations of the food since the prices are very cheap & yes, there are no services charge! However, personally I will not go back & eat again (once is enough, I would rather eat in food court ) Quite disappointed with the staffs' services as well. We pressed bell & waited for quite sometime for them to take our orders.  continue reading

I ate at this place a few years back when it first opened at Liang Court. It was bad.I decided to give it another go recently to see if my memory served me well. Unfortunately it had not improved. The salad dressing was strange-tasting and reminded me faintly of puke.Grilled pork with ginger was tough and dry. Even the corn it was served with was dry.The tuna spaghetti was seemingly tossed only with tuna from an expired can.The curry spaghetti sauce tasted like week-old prata gravy, with overcooked chicken. The carbonara was generous with bacon and tasted okay but the sauce was as thin as water. On the up side, the chicken wings were not bad and the garlic butter focaccia was good (though it resembled naan). continue reading

My girlfriend suggested to have Cheap Italian-Japanese food at Orchard Gateway Basement 1 (Somerset MRT). At first I did not expect to wait for restaurant tables' and queue for everything because it is a Wednesday, but still had to wait for about 20 mins before we can get a seat.Kindly take note that no smoking seats are available, so I cannot take a moment to relax-in between while waiting for waiter to come and take order. My girlfriend, mother and me did not feel that they serve oily food, but bad quality on services.Work in progress for upgrading the credit card machine must be done because it took 5 minutes to approve 1 transaction for payment at the counter. Conclusion: Although it's pretty reasonably priced, the management should get an espresso machine instead of telling customers that the coffee machine is currently cleaning in progress and have to drink either hot Lipton tea or other cold drinks. continue reading
