Inside these fresh crepes are crunchy deep and chewy fried soft shell crabs which are deliciously addictive. These crepes added an extra fragrance to the already tasting filling. As you can see from the photo, there are a generous filling of crusted fresh soft shell crabs added in the crepe which is indeed value for money. The thin strips of cucumber add freshness to the whole combination. Priced at S$5.99 for a red plate serving. continue reading

Sakae is a well known japanese food chain, and is frequently compared to sushi tei. In my opinion, sushi tei has more unique dishes and a wider variety to choose from, but sakae will still be able to satisfy any jap food craving. I was craving for some fried food and got the fried tofu - fried till crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. I also got the fried tempura veg - a bit too oily for my liking though. continue reading

Went to have the buffet at Sakae Sushi which is from 3-6pm, definitely it's worth for money which the price is $19.99 which you can eat as many colour plates you want + 1 red and pink plates/person + 1 Tiramisu/Strawberry ice cream. Food was delicious especially the deep fried salmon which the fish is very tender. We had the Tiramisu ice cream which it's freaking nice.... Will go back again to eat the buffet again... continue reading

Given that Sakae Sushi is quite an established Japanese restaurant, I am very disappointed that the service can be so lousy. The waiter simply just leave a plate of sushi which we have not ordered on our table! Yes, this waiter serves without communicating to his customer. And when I try to get his attention, he simple ignore me! Obviously, I ask another waiter to take away the food. I hope that it is not served to another customer, if not, it will be super unhygenic! As for the taste of the food, I will only rate it as average. Definitely not worth visiting this restaurant! continue reading
