This is one of those nice and economical western food you can find in Singapore but in campus. I chose Black Pepper Chicken Chop and indeed, never fail me in taste even though it costs $3.20. It not only has the chicken chop, you can choose 3 sides from their variety like baked beans, french fries, corns, hashbrowns, coleslaw and more. All included in the price of $3.20 so what do you think? You may want to add their soup of the day at $1.20 to complete the meal.

The chicken chop is well-cooked and is very tender along with the sauce which is a little salty but still bearable. The portion is modest and decent which makes you enjoy chewing away the chicken chop. The hashbrown and fries are a little too soft, maybe it has been fried for a while and the crispy has lost a little. But nevertheless, the overall taste is good and would love to try others.

They have pasta, salads and many more to choose from at affordable price which won't cost you more than $6.

One of the better stall that i like in the Science canteen. The western stall offers a wide variety, and their mango chicken salad is so good with their lemon mustard dressing. Their mains, like chicken chop, comes with 3 side dishes, which includes, baked beans, coleslaw, fries, hashbrown, babycarrot/corn. Cheese can be added to fries for just 50cents! Yummy. The chicken chop is no frill, and the sauce is just right, not too salty.

The salad bar in Science canteen NUS offers a range of economic Western food. The waiting queue is usually long though. I like to order their salad. The Chicken Salad ($2) consists of lots of greens, a piece piece of well-seasoned chicken chop (cut into strips), croutons to give an extra crunchy texture, tomato slices, and dressing of your choice. Fresh and tasty. If you prefer a gourmet version of Chicken Salad, you could order the Mango Chicken Salad, but it subjects to availability.

It was a hot day that I feel like having something light and fresh. Therefore, I chose the egg salad from the Western stall at Science Canteen, NUS. This Western stall serves lots of good stuffs, such as a variety of pasta, chicken/beef chops, fish fillet, and quite a number of side dishes (fries, mashed potato, baked bean, corn etc) to choose from. The egg salad I ordered only costs $2, so cheap yet very tasty. The salad portion is not big but consists of lots of green, 2 hard boiled egg, crout

I always go for lemon mustard sauce, slightly sour and very refreshing.

This Western stall considers pretty new to NUS Science canteen (compared to other stalls), and since opening, it always has long queue. I ordered the chicken chop ($3), and with the main course, I get to choose three side dishes. I chose baked bean, coleslaw and sweet courn kennels. Other choices of side dishes include pasta salad, fries and hash brown. The chicken chop is quite big in portion, and retain the juiciness of the meat very well. Good deal.
