All it took was 10 minutes to finish the entire plate of delicious spaghetti. The spaghettis at Sapore Italiano are definitely worth every cent! Be it a casual gathering or a simple dinner, many students crowd at the NUS branch to satisfy their cravings for spaghetti, pasta and pizza. My friend ordered this prawn spaghetti in tomato sauce and it turned out quite well! He loved the portion and creamy sauce! His portion is larger than normal, as he requested for more spaghetti and ingredients. It cost him below $20 still!I tried the seafood pasta and found it good. It tasted very much like the normal seafood pasta sold outside, but I still like it anyway!

Had the mushroom pizza here after a long day of project work. It was okay but i guess the crust wasnt really as delicious as i expected it to be. It was rather bland and not crispy. The tomato sauce on the pizza was also rather scarce and lacking in flavour. The mushrooms were also in limited quantity and for the price paid, i wouldnt really expect too much too. But i think their gelato ice cream is quite good! Perhaps one should try that instead.Overall, disappointing

They serve decent gelato here at affordable prices. One scoop cost about $1.50. Came down with a group of friends to try many flavours! Pistachio- Wasn't very impressed with the pistachio flavour, as I couldn't really make out the nutty flavour of pistachio. Tiramisu- The tiramisu flavour is excellent, there is a tinge of alcohol and espresso taste infused in the gelato and you will even find bits of ladyfingers (the rum soaked spongecake like layer). Nocciola (hazeulnut)- not too bad, very nice and creamy!Stracciatella (chocolate chip)- unlike the american chunky chocolate chip, the italian version of chocolate chip ice cream has much finer chocolate chips that are well blended into the vanilla cream.

went down to arts for lunch recently to try our sapore italiano since my lab mates had such good comment about the food there. we went down quite early to avoid the lunch crowd and i ordered carbonara. the pasta portion was quite generous but the taste was just average, a bit too creamy for me. the store also sell gelato for $1.50 per scoop so i think is another attractive point about this store

one of the newer addition to school and i was actually quite surprise to find an italian store in school canteen. i ordered a large fungi pizza and the portion looked not too bad. the crust was very different from the normal pizza that i tried before and the texture was something like naan. although the food is nice here, the waiting time was terrible especially during peak hour, you could easily wait at least 30min for the food
