Bought a set of the Mushroom Crepe with drink and soup from this famous crepe outlet at bishan. The crepe was simply soft and fragrant and is moist and chewy. Generous amount of thinnly sliced mushroom are topped inside it which is fragrant and delicious. With generous amount of melted cheese inside which make 8t very tasty too. The mushroom soup was alright but could be n8cer if is thicker in texture. Service was friendly and fast. Restaurant is clean and neat too. Less than $12 is cheap.Read More

My first time to be here, Saybons was a classy French Catering. Looking the Menu, I decided to try out their famous Savoury Crepe. All their cutleries tidily arranged with hygiene manner. Crepe baking was transparently displayed in front of the café. The décor was calming and carefree, we picked at seat near the boundary. Ambience was cozy and quiet even during lunch time. Soup and Drinks came first, Crepe was pending to be ready. I was wondering how to compute the amount initially, but understood after obtaining the receipt. $6.30 for Salmon Onion Cheese Crepe, $4.90 for the Soup and Ice Lemon Tea, there was no GST or service charge incurred. Handmade slice was chewy, Salmon was cheesy flavoursome. Their Pumpkin Soup was the one impressed me, well-blended and hearty to pick me up.Read More

I was craving for their crepes and ordered a smoked salmon and cheese flavor. It was served piping hot. The hot cheese and the crepe was fragrant and flavorful. The smoked salmon was a little salty but I guess most smoked salmon tasted like that. Had it made into a soup combo and i chose the pumpkin soup to drink. It was thick and rich soup. Pumpkin flavor was plentiful. It's not some diluted soup. Read More

for photos and more reviews, visit http://littlemomentsofmylife.wordpress.com/ :)when you need something to eat on the go, crepes are one of the things that are convenient enough to grab, although as we discovered that day, aren't really filling saybons' crepes are delicious though! if you want, get a savoury + sweet one! haha. i didn't try the sweet crepes, but i think they should be nice i loved my ham mushroom crepe ($4.60)! the sauteed herb mushrooms were fragrant, and complemented the slightly salty ham wonderfully. i liked how the skin of the crepe was just the right thickness, with a delightful crunch to it and served piping hot.the bacon, egg and cheese ($5.80) smelled really delicious!!!! probably cos of the bacon. it was good that the crepe wasnt too oily, despite how fried the bacon was. the amount was just right, so even though the ingredients could have made for a heavy dish, it was easy on the tummy :)Read More

Saybons is such an adorable little dessert shop with all my favourite elements - wood, nautical colors and Eiffel Towers - I love it already even before I step in. There are both mains and desserts available on the menu but this time I'm trying out the desserts this time! Grace & Xuan's selection was the Rum & Raisin Banana Crepe (rum/banana/raisins/almonds) - $5 + French Vanilla ice-cream ($2.20). I can't really accurately decide if I like it because I only pinched one mouthful, all I could remember was that the rum flavour was quite strong and there wasn't really enough banana bits in it. Ave and my selection was the Apple Delight Crepe (apples/cinnamon/almonds) - $4.20 + French Vanilla ice-cream ($2.20). It is a fairly enjoyable dessert, with light wafts of fragrant cinnamon with soft apple bits. The crepe is thin and crispy on the edge (-great job!) and a little soggy from the apple and ice-cream after a while. A little difficult to cut to share with other people, but these are inconsequential picky complaints, of course. This little restaurant is suitable for friends to hangout and spend hours chatting at; it's really quiet and cozy. I am more inclined to choose this place for its ambience and decor rather than the food itself - the food is above average but not spectacular enough for re-visits. Read More

It was after shopping and i badly need a rest for my poor legs. When my friend and i saw Saybons right in front of us, we walked in immediately! We don't really want a heavy meal so this end up to be quite a good choice for us. Both of us ordered our own individual soup + a bread. I chose to have Seafood Bisque + Sundried Tomato Butter bread. Both actually fill you up easily but it was really nice. Very flavorful for both items with the right balance in taste.Since the toasted bread comes in 2 slices, we gave other 1 slice to try. My friend had the Garlic Herb Butter and it's good too!Read More

Decided to satisfy my craving for crepes and curious to find out how the Singapore crepe taste like... FOODHam, egg & cheese crepeMy favourite combination of crepe! The crepe is quite crispy, and love the fragrance of the flour. The ham could be nicer if it were diced into cubes rather than slices, and the egg should be half-boiled kind of egg instead of being too cooked. Although it's not comparable to the crepes in france, i still enjoyed savoring it nevertheless.Potato LeekAs a soup lover, I ordered their potato soup to try. It's a very thick soup full of potato. Got sick of it when was drinking half-way through. I believe it'd taste better if they add more water to dilute the concentrated soup. AMBIENCEIt does not really have much ambience, as the shop is quite small, and there are limited seats to it. Most people buy and take away.SERVICELike those fast-food restaurants, it's a self-service kind of thing. So you order the food at the counter, get back to your seat and wait for the food to come.Read More

Chanced upon this shop while i was randomly walking around in J8. The cafe is small, but packed with people on a weekday night. Had to wait for while before i could get a seat. The first thing that caught my eyes was the escargot on the menu. There are quite some variety to choose from, and i had the mushroom ones. There are finely chopped walnuts on top of the bread crumbs, which does not enhanced the taste. But other than that, the escargot is yummy! The butter taste is rich, and goes great with the bread that is complementary with it. I ordered another item, which is the smoked salmon with cheese crepe. They are generous with their ingredient, and the crepe is served piping hot! Highly recommended Read More

A small outlet on the second floor of the shopping centre. There is about 25 seats in the place. Not much people dine in. Most customers are for takeaway.Got a number tag after paying for my order at the cashier.Having Salmon Onion Cheese Crepe ($6.20)Very cheesy inside with slices of salmon and slices of onion. The edges of the crepe is very crispy. The crepe is also very thin. Overall very tasty.I also topup $4.80 for a soup and side. Wild Mushroom Soup (usual : $3.90)The soup is has a lot of finely chopped mushroom, but not very flavourful. For side, I select chip from a choice of chips, fruit, ice tea.Read More

This is the best ever mushroom soup i've tasted. It doesn't taste like those from the cans at all. This is simply fabulous! The taste is really yummy and also it is thick and fragrant. You must give it a try! I have no complains with this stall at all. Service is perfect and also their food! The only thing they need to improve perhaps is their signboard menu. It wasn't clearly stated and menu wasn't presented at the cashier counter. Also, the place is really small thus not having enough seats.Read More

Baked Escargots in Garlic Butternice soft breadSoft and crispy Sun-dried Tomato Butter ToastPotato leek soup & tomato soupMy first time trying Saybon’s Tomato soup. Although the price of $3.30 for a small cup of soup may be abit high, but it is definitely worth it. The tomato soup is thick and creamy. It is full of flavour and could taste real tomato bits within almost every mouthful of soup. It brings out taste of sweetness with mild sourness of fresh tomato. And don’t see that it is small so it will not be satisfying. Instead, I get pretty full after finishing the whole cup of tomato soup!Read More

Yummy wild mushroom soup and Facaccia bread from saybons.I like their mushroom soup. Wild mushroom are blended to very very tiny so can swallow easily. The soup is not salty or strong in milk taste which make it acceptable for many people. The Facaccia bread is not really special. I find it just a normal bread. I order as take away. Perhaps i should eat it hot or toast before i eat.Read More

I have added a new love to my favourite food list, it is crepe. Ever since I tried the crepe at saybons, I was completely hooked on. It is quite hard to find crepes in Singapore, not to mention nice crepes. I completely adore their bacon cheese and egg while my girlfriend prefers the mushroom and cheese one. The crepes are very light and with the ingredients, you do not have a hungry feeling in your tummy after eating. I reckon this is the nicest crepe I have eaten.Read More

Happened to see a 1-for-1 promotion at Saybons Junction 8 outlet for its Ham & Cheese crepe, and so 2 of us decided to grab a chance to try this out. The little outlet had about a dozen or so seats and it looks cosy. Our crepes were served to us fresh from the oven, and I could feel the ham and cheese melting in my mouth as I bit into mine. The crepe was thinly sliced and very crispy. A very yummy snack for tea, I must say! :)Read More

I had the seafood bisque soup for lunch. I was considering to have a crepe as well, a dessert crepe, specifically the banana and nutella one. I skipped it anyway, had my soup with focaccia bread instead. The soup here is good but somewhat different. It’s flavorful but not chunky. Also, they serve them in a mug instead of a bowl.Read More
