Signature Dishes
Western food in Secret Recipe is pretty good! I ordered Chicken with cheese together with salad and potatoes while my friend ordered Spaghetti bolognese. The sauce for the chicken is pretty good! Chicken was cooked just right and it was succulent and juicy. It fits well with the mozarella cheese!

Decided to try Secret Recipe, I ordered the Grilled BBQ chicken. The chicken was tender and fragrant. The BBQ sauce was pretty okay but not the best I've tasted. It was priced at $13.20 which is quite a common price for such restaurant. The waiter was polite but could be better if they serve faster. It was not crowded and yet it took them ~15mins to serve the dishes. The environment was okay and they maintain their cleanliness too. Overall not bad experience.

I think it was our entire group's first time having actual dinner at Secret Recipe. I have previously (years ago) tried their cheesecakes and I think they're really good!We each ordered a different main course and it took quite a long while to arrive. I had this Chicken Lasagna which was one of the cheapest main courses on the menu. The dough tasted uncooked and the meat sauce was tasteless. It was so unexpectedly disappointing. Apparently, it is so bad that they even took it off their latest menu, gosh!We tried each others' main courses and we regretted having our dinner there.For my side order, I had Pumpkin Soup ($4.90). I still think this is the best item on their entire menu. It's an intriguing soup because it looks and tastes like curry but it's actually pumpkin soup. LOL.Both items cost me $15.70. Not worth it.Well, overall, please only come here for the cakes and soups and only if you can endure the bad service and rowdy crowd.

I was never a fan of cheese cake. Hence, Secret Recipe was famous for cheese cake, I never take a look at their other cakes.My friend told me that they do sell other nice cream cakes, hence when I was there, I had decided to buy their Moist Chocolate Cake.The moist chocolate cake did not have any cream, instead it replaced with chocolate fudge.The chocolate fudge tasted thick in dark chocolate and there was some coffee aroma.The chocolate cake did not taste moist, it was slightly dry and rough, similar to Sara Lee chocolate cake texture.

Sister bought this for me,this time we tried their durian cheesecake & durian durian cakeDurian cheesecake- can't really taste the cheese,as durian was too strong,it was very creamy,i like the below biscuit,but after eating few bites ,i felt that it was a bit too sweetAs for durian durian cake -is a 4 layers of vanilla with 3 layers of durian filling & almondthis one the durian taste not so strong,sponge cake was soft,not very sweet,but bad point is too many whip creamOverall find that their cake tasted normal but expensive..
