My mum bought some Tao Huey back home.It was Selegie Soya Bean!I’ve yet to try theirs, in fact I’ve not heard of them prior to this And it’s my first time eating red bean Tao Huey, yays to this combination I’ve put in the fridge to make it even colder before eating.Their Tao Huey is quite smooth; I can really test the sweet taste of the soya bean with the sugar syrup! There was quite a good portion of red beans too, a great dessert choice after meals. This would really hit the spot on a hot sunny day too continue reading

Had my craving for beancurd at selegie soya bean. Instead of the usual, I decided to add on 3 tang yuan (yam flavor) to go with it. Prefer the cold one than the warm one, though the texture of the warm beancurd is more smoother than the cold one. The tang yuan is round and huge, with many yam fillings inside. It is also chewy and I like the texture a lot. the beancurd taste nice too, and the sweet syrup poured is just nice too. Still prefer this kind of traditional beancurd compared to the "pudding style" selling outside. continue reading

Oh...am so happy and excited and boss came into office with tea-break for us. And the reason why I'm excited and happy about is that the egg tarts are from my favorite stall. It's can be considered 1 of the top 5 within my list of egg tarts in Singapore (or was it perhaps I have yet to try the most delicious tarts?!0 Crust~ flakey, buttery, layers and layers of super thin puffs.Fillings~ soft, tender, Q, custard taste, mild sweet and delicious.Gotto eat while hot and it leaves a fragrance after taste make u wish that you could have more! continue reading

For just $1.80, i get the bandung version with pearls. Basically rose syrup is added to the cup before the pearls and soya milk is poured in. Strongly advise to inform the staff not to add anymore sugar as the syrup is already sweet enough. Though they do not have the best tasting pearls, as long as you consume it asap, it's still nice and chewy. I tried before only drinking the drink after 1 hour, all the pearls turned soggy. Also the good thing about the soya milk is its not diluted with ice like those in hawker centre, as the ice is contained separated in a metal container but partly submerged within the soya milk tank for chilling purpose. Quick tip for driver, on your hazard lights and park at the side of the road, and dash for a quick buy. By the way they have small tables lined up along the common corridor if you want to have your drink and finger food there. Popular dessert/supper location. continue reading
