Seng Heng Braised Duck (Closed)

This stall is part of a group that has stalls at other hawker centres including Redhill Hawker Centre, which I frequent often. They have good Braised Duck Noodles. Often there is a queue, but it moves fast.You have a choice of yellow noodles or kway teow noodles. The chilli is also potent, but it adds a good kick to the noodles. You can ask for a little chilli first if you are worried you can't take the heat. The soup on the side is also good and flavourful. Try it!

The FoodI ordered a plate of Braised Duck Rice. The duck meat is tender and has fully absorbed the rich and tasty flavour of the dark braised sauce. Even the skin is fragrant and braised till it's nice and soft. The braised sauce is not too salty and goes very well with the rice. This is one of the better Braised Duck Rice I have ever tasted. I'm quite please to see that Seng Heng braised duck stall is still operating after the peak hours. Their ducks are always sold out when I'm there even though I consider myself early. FoodWe choose to order a set meal of 2 instead of 2 individual portions.
