My colleague brought me to this stall to try on their claypot pig organ dish. He said the stall is famous with this dish and I will enjoyed it. He ordered mixture of pig organ and shared among two of us. We had them with plain white rice. The taste of the pig organ was covered with the sauce and you can't really taste the so called smelly taste. It wasn't too dry to go with the plain rice and i finished everything! continue reading

My grandma stay near this Hawker and so since young I have been eating at this Seng Kee Black Chicken Stall. My favourite item from this stall is this Pork Kidney Mee Suan Soup ($4). The soup base has light yet yummy herbal taste and it's nice and tasty. The mee suan is not overcooked and so it is not too soft. Apart from pork kidney, pork liver and pork slices are added too. Their pork slices are marinated with cornflour and so it is soft and chewy. Nice. continue reading

I'm a regular at the kebangam outlet but its my 1st visit to this 511 bedok branch. On first look, the styling is quite different, signage is yellow contrary to the picture signage at the other outlet. On closer look, they do use the same concept whereby plates of fish parts are placed in metal plates with lots of ice cube and with the price tag on it. These are for the steam fish lovers. For me i ordered the usual standard mixed spare parts kidney mee sua. It did not disappoint, i would say the mee sua standard is similar, thumbs up for that. The type of cut chilli provided is similar too, so same taste but at a different location. My small bowl cost $4 though, seems to be cheaper than the other outlet. Also i noticed more people order the claypot chicken dish here, i think its sesame claypot chicken, will try it next time. Was told by the main guy there, who is also seen in other reviewers' photos that this stall is the dad's ownership while the kebangam one is managed by the son. continue reading

The signboard says Seng Kee Black Chicken Herbal Soup. But the Kidney Mee Suah in Herbal Soup seems to be the more popular dish here. Springy mee sua, sliced pork, liver and kidney served in very tasty herbal soup, topped with generous amount of spring onions. Mee sua is cooked to a perfect texture, soft and not too soggy. Ingredients used are fresh and the kidney does not have strong smell. Waiting time is approx 15 -20mins. During peak hours and weekends the waiting time can take more than 30 mins. But this bowl of tasty mee suah is definitely worth the wait. continue reading

This is one of the nicest place to enjoy delicious kidney mee suah. The kidney does not have any strong smell, it is very soft and cooked perfectly, you can tell that they used really fresh pig liver. The soup is so thirsty, not too salty but it is very flavourful. The mee sua is cooked really well, it is not too soft but very springy and chewy. The soup is a little spicy too but it is this hotness that really draws you to the dish. Even though the queue is really long, but I seriously think it is worth the wait. continue reading
