Very good for family, friends gathering and birthday party. Delicious and safe food. Nice barbecue smelling can reach to South Korea. Nice streaming boat and can cook self is best design. Never far from traditional style. Great environment you can easily reach. Family and business people most choose this restaurant. Advice to go this restaurant if you like traditional not modern. continue reading

It was my first visit since a long tym when they still use the yellow bowls. I was hungry for some korean bbq but didn't want to spend too much for 2 person so we headed to Seoul garden at clementi cause it was the nearest branch since they closed the one at woodlands. We went for the student meal that was 12.30-4pm? We weren't very familiar with the system there so we asked this staff calls, "Joe". He was very nice and told us if we needed anything we could ask him for it. The choosing of ingredient using the computer was nice but quite laggy so be patient with it. We ordered vege, noodles for our hotpot. The garlic chicken was awesome when grilled. The bbq pan was hot most of the tym so beware of the meat that you are cooking will overcook because it is not possible to control the heat. the steamboat heat could be control so dun worry but the broth always evaporate too quickly. If u are there for the hunger of MEAT, dun bother on the steamboat unless it was for noodles. The meat varieties are ok and it is halal. The seafood choices are very limited like lala and clams only. The other premium seafood like tuna, octopus have to pay extra quite alot. The side dishes like kimchi and spinach was delicious! For those who love kimchi, rmb do place yr kimchi onto the griller and eat it along with meat. If there was only lettuce to wrap it up, it will taste better! There are other dishes on the side like deep fried food for u to munch if u are too hungry. There are sushi and cake for you to take for free. Note: If u want to eat more, try not to drink too much gassy drink cause u will be bloated and unable to eat more. The dessert there is like D-I-Y kind. Something worth to praise about is that there is a ice shaver machine for you to make yr own ice kachang! There are A LOT of varieties of topping and syrup for you to make yr favorite dessert. Beside it, there is ice cream for you to scoop it for yourself. It is self service so sometym it's kind of hard to scoop it yrself. On the right, there are many sprinkles for you to choice like chocolate sprinkles or crushed nuts. The fresh kimchi that was taken from the side dish areaThe grilled kimchi taste the best! You got to try it~! I bet you will nvr forget the taste.Grilling the garlic chicken! My self-made ice kachang. Shaved ice drizzled with strawberry syrup, sweet corn and nata de coco. The grilled chicken =D continue reading

It's my first visit to Seoul Garden. First impression: very crowded and packed with teenagers. You can easily order the ingredients from the computer, but some food are not categorized properly hence hard to find. The steamboat set also comes with the grill section, you can either put the ingredients into the hotpot, or cook them on the grill. The seafood and meat served are fresh and most of them marinated pretty well. There's also a corner of ready food for you to eat. You could find appetizers, noodles, fries, desserts, cake etc here. Quite a good variety though they taste nothing special. continue reading

Immediately after we were at our table, the waiter poured the chicken soup which we requested & we went to get the food we wanted. There were alot of food - seafood, veggies, fruits, marinated meats; teriyaki, char siew.. u name it they gt it. We took some back to our table (not too much as we were afraid we couldnt finish them) & started 'cooking'. There were also some cooked food provided. The spaghetti was just served when we got there so we both got some for ourselves. The spaghetti was not wat i expected, not really tat nice (but this is a place where u cook ur own food, not get cooked food, so cant complain, hehe continue reading
