Soft and warm waffle matched perfectly with Ice-cream, texture was a nice touch. Just right, waffle was crispy outside while fluffy in the middle. I like Blackforest with moist and denser filling, rich and fragrance of alcohol was satisfying. It was $9.70, expensive but I deserved a luxury dessert.

This was a brownie with ice cream search at 10pm. So coffee bean has brownies. Oriole has no brownies. Cold rock has ice cream but... and that brings us to Seventh Heaven. These guys have moved from their previous location in the clouds to level 2 and occupying a much smaller space. But they have! Brownie and ice cream. There's a massive choice for ice cream flavours here including this one that looked like bubblegum pop. might've been called cotton candy or something. I chose cookies and cream.

The ice cream was a perfect cookie crunch with lush creamy vanilla love for my warm brownie base. The brownie base was thick and chocolatey rich, and chocolate drizzles for me to drag my brownie pieces in topped with whipped cream.

Yes i know that's all FAT, but it's happy fats!

It was my first time at Seventh Heaven. It was introduced by one of my friend and she mentioned that I have to try this ice cream place. When we arrived, it was full and we had to wait for a while before we found our seat. Perhaps it is because it is a weekend. I ordered the scoop of salted caramel ice cream and it even came with a small scoop of lemon sorbet. My friend ordered the salted caramel with the waffle. I heard from her that the waffle tasted delicious and goes well with the ice cream.

My friend ordered the salted caramel with the waffle. I heard from her that the waffle tasted delicious and goes well with the ice cream. I also ordered a peppermint tea to go along with it. Overall the ice cream is still decent for me. I would have preferred the richer creamier type of ice cream and well, that’s just my preference. Try this ice cream place and tell it for yourself.

In the Orchard area and decide to stop by for an ice-cream. They have a lot of flavours and I choose the butterscotch with pecan as recommended by the staff.I am impressed by the size of the single scoop, as it not only fills up the entire cup, but sticks out beyond the rim. It is light and teases the palate, making you go for more spoonfuls until you finish the entire cup. I also spot many others enjoying their desserts here.

Well I think the standard dropped quite a lot compared to the last time I had at Raeburn park (had closed down since). My favourite out of the entire lot has to be Granny Smith & Cream Cheese; feels like eating a very light cheesecake icecream. Tastes just like cheesecake too!

Rum & Raisin, and Butterscotch Pecan were milky and good, although a tad sweet.

I thought I would have liked Red Velvet, Choco Rum, Buttermilk Raspberry, Durian, Matcha and Kopi, as these are flavours that are rather common and generally well-liked. However for me, I find the flavours too artificial, tastes off from how it should originally taste.

The Sorbet category - Red Sorbet, Yuzu Sorbet, and Kumkat Sorbet - are those that I probably wouldn't try again unless their recipe is tweaked. I'm a sorbet lover, but I didn't enjoy the consistency and texture of the sorbets here.

Grape sorbet (and Kumkat Sorbet) are too thick, too sweet, and melts into a paste.

On the other hand, texture of yuzu sorbet is very different from the above 2 sorbets. This one is more towards ice flakes and separated. Even the service staff had trouble bringing the icecream into a complete scoop, because it kept falling apart. On the bowl, it also melted extremely quickly.

Chanced upon this cosy little cafe while me and bf were taking the escalator up inside Orchard Central. We popped inside and while looking at the menu, both of us were spoilt for choices on which dessert to choose from. We decided on something appetizing and healthy which is the waffles with small cut fruits and 2 scoops of ice cream (mango and vanilla flavour). The dish came and we were amazed by the huge serving. I must say Seventh Heaven's rendition of this well-loved treat really wasn't that bad. I've had worse. The consistency wasn't too shabby and the sweetness wasn't too much to handle.

I'm quite disappointed with the pancakes at Seventh Heaven. The place looks so packed and the menu looks really good with a large variety of desserts (after all it is a dessert place) but the pancakes tasted like it was reheated out of a package. Don't expect any fresh pancakes. The ice cream (Rocky Road) was SO SWEET that I can barely make out the chocolate flavour. I just tasted sugar. I would prefer more taste to my desserts rather than eating sugary sweet things.

However, after some sampling of the above flavors, I decided to go with Double dark chocolate and peanut butter ice cream since it was the only palatable option out of all 4 that I tried. The potato chip ice cream tasted nothing like potato chips ( I was expecting something salty like salted caramel), while the red velvet had a very artificial taste and the bits of red velvet cake in the ice cream did nothing to improve to taste.

At $4.20 for a single scoop of ice cream, it is around the market rate for ice cream shops in Town so that was still rather reasonable and the scoop was a generous one with a piece of waffle biscuit to top it off.

That said, the ice cream was nothing fantastic as the peanut butter taste overwhelmed the chocolate and it simply tasted like peanut butter ice cream. Hence, I would say that despite their adventurous flavors, in reality they fail to live up to expectations taste-wise. Until then, I will not be repurchasing any more ice cream from them.

I was astounded at the dessert selection here - I suppose it's called Seventh Heaven for that very reason! I had the Peanut Butter Chocolate Chip Pie (top left - $8.80) and Marshmallow Brownie Crunch (lower right - $8.80). Peanut butter fans would die for a bite of the peanut butter choco chip pie. It's very, very rich and the sweetness is, surprisingly, not overwhelming at all. As for the brownie crunch, it's a messy, gooey, fudgy affair. It's a good idea to share this, it's a tad much for one

As for me, I had a double scope. One flavor was the Lychee Martini which I was totally addicted to. It has a creamy texture with a slight hint of alcohol and mild lychee flavor. Every spoonful felt rather soothing and refreshing to me. The other flavor was Butterscotch and Pecan. (Another white ice cream) It was too sweet for my liking and it contained bits of nuts. The really bad thing about double or more scopes of ice cream in a cup is that if the flavors crash, it spoils the taste. Both Gbk and my ice cream came with a small glass of palate cleanser. It was Passion Fruit Sorbet that was quite sour and it helped to wash off our ice cream taste that lingered in our mouth. I accidently toppled the glass as the base was rounded. Luckily nothing spilled out as the sorbet was still in its icy form.
As for Lhy he had Wild Strawberries ice cream in a chocolate cup (I forgot the exact name). His dessert arrived and it
really made us laughed! It looked really gay, pink ice cream in a little distorted chocolate cup, with a strawberry resting
on a pile of cream on the ice cream. A supposing wise choice for females who wanted to act feminine. The wild
strawberries flavor tasted just like any other ordinary strawberry flavour. I guessed he got scammed by the extra word
'wild'!

They still do serve the matrix but it is more expensive and you could no longer choose the flavours. Okie then again in the past we were not suppose to choose flavours but because we were there so often that we got acquitted with the people there and thus had the privilege of choosing the flavours. Now that it has expanded, the place has become more impersonal.
So conclusion, 7th heaven is no longer worth the calories. While they used to be well known for the alcoholic ice-cream, the alcohol content in the present day ice cream had be reduced tremendously, probably making it more kid friendly but less welcoming for adults.
