I've always loved the oyster mee sua from shihlin taiwan street snacks stalls. Whenever i have the craving for it, i will buy back to eat as dinner. The mee sua is very fragrant and flavourful, there are chicken shreds and oysters as ingredients, added with the parsley and a little bit of chilli they noodle is totally irresistable. The noodle is best consumed when hot, when it gets cold it will be weird and not so delicious.

Sausage & Cheese wrap crepe! It's such a simple dish yet it is so yummy and delicious! The cheese (although not fully melted which i prefer more) and sausage make such a great combination, with some hint of sweet sauce (teriyaki sauce? not too sure). I always like the ends of the crepe more because it is crispier at the edges. It is not very filling for a meal though.

Oyster mee sua without oyster with lots of chilli is what i usually order. The queue is scary at this outlet where some outlets are just empty. Despite the queue, people are still willing to wait, and that includes me, as there isnt much food at amk to eat.And the mee sua here is decent. The service is decent as well. Haven tried the fried chicken before as i am not really a fan plus the longer waiting time!!

This is a must-have oyster mee sua as there were generous amount of oyster given and the mee sua is cooked to a perfect consistency. With a dash of black vinegar, it helps to enhance the flavors of the oyster mee sua. The gravy is very thick and rich and really have the taste of those authentic oyster mee sua. This is definitely a thumbs-up for me and you guys should try it out for yourself.

Shihlin Taiwan Street Snacks mee sua is always where i would go to if i want to eat mee sua. I would always ask them to do away with the oysters as i do not like eating oysters. It also comes with some shredded chicken on top of it. Although the portion is not exactly a lot, so it is also a good choice for afternoon snack. The gravy is also great and goes well with the mee sua. When paired with the chili it taste even better!

There was a long queue and I was lucky because I was a step early before getting more and more people. There were a lot of them who ordered shihlin mee-suah and that is a better choice if one couldn't wait too long because it is already cooked earlier and being warmed inside the cooker. However, I decided to try out the chicken floss egg crepe. It is a bit dry inside but the crepe has strong taste of egg and overall it was still not bad for people who like chicken floss like me!

If there is no comparison then the oyster mee suah from here tasted quite good but if compared to those in taiwan then it might not be able to match up. I still frequent this particular outlet whenever being hit by the craving for oyster mee suah as this is the closer possible to get in Singapore. The portion is quite little for its price. It came with a few pieces of oyster and some shredded chicken. It then added in the vinegar. The standard can be quite inconsistent at times.

Decided to try its chicken floss omelette wrap rather than the fried chicken slices and sweet potato fries I usually would buy from this stall. Chicken floss is wrapped within the omelette wrap and sweet sauce is poured over the wrap and the omelette wrap is cut into small sizes. Parsley was added and these added freshness to the snack! I found the sauce a little too sweet but I like the warm chicken floss omelette wrap that has a nice blend of floss and eggs. Overall not too bad though a little

For $3.80 per bowl, the serving of noodle is quite small and perfect for an afternoon snack. I normally try to avoid fried food as much as possible, but I succumb to my cravings once a while especially since It has been 4months since I last had it. This is a very common snack and must try in Shilin night market in taiwan and the singapore branch here tastes quite authentic, though not comparable to the ones that you get in taiwan of course. I like mine with more chilli powder since it adds more kick to the ji pa, although it ended up making it more saltish, but it is very addictive. However, be sure to drink lots of water after eating, because of the high msg content.

Bought this home for extra dish for dinner.
Before that i checked with my mum to see if there's dinner prepared for me.
However my mum reminded me that she's going out that night hence i have to settle my own dinner

But luckily i got the craving for Shihlin Fried chicken!
There's always a crowd especially during dinner time.
Had to wait for quite a while in queue, order and receive my food, all about in 15 mins!
I considered that quite a wait as i was yearning to collapse on my bed at home, my feet was so tired as i was wearing my heels for work.
Finally i got my Shihlin Fried chicken and went home.
It goes great with the maggie mee that i cooked and ate together with

Shihlin Fried chicken is quite a big piece of chicken and i watched the person cut it into smaller pieces for easy consumation.
As shown in my photos, it was still pipping hot and smelling super deliciously of fried chicken.
I love the peppery taste, for me i prefer less chili powder as sometimes the person put too much!

However overall i would recommend this Shihlin Fried chicken, it's as good as eating the ones in taiwan

This is the place I will go to for Mee Sua. It is simple yet please my stomach, it is sour at the same time a little sweet. The mixture of the chicken and oysters just keep you treasure hunting in the sea of Mee Sua.Moreover, it is difficult to spot stalls selling Mee Sua.

I am normally not a fan of fried food sold outside as it gives me an impression of oily and greasy food fried using oil that has been reused a lot of time. However, after trying out the crispy deep fried chickent from Shihlin, I was struck by how nice the chicken is. It does not reek of oil like I have feared, nor does it have the recycled oil smell. I could only taste its aromatic seasoning. The portion for $3.50 is also quite a lot as well.
