We went to grab some snack after hanging around. When I received the chicken, it was pipping hot and smelling deliciously of fried chicken. The chicken is boneless and is quit a big pieces and I watched the person cut it into smaller pieces for easy consumation. I love the peppery taste and I prefer more chilli powder as I like spicy food. The chicken was crispy and tender and even fresh too but it a bit oily. Overall, the chicken was not bad.

The Shihlin oyster mian sian was quite authentic as compare to the mian sian from Taiwan. The vinegar tasted nice and the chili tasted very match with the soup. The oyster tasted very fresh too.

Will visit the shop again and again.

I love this dish from Shihlin Taiwan Street Snacks, because i find it healthier than the rest because it's sweet plum potato fries! But they also have the XXL Chicken, Seafood Tempura, which taste fantastic too! They light fried it till it leaves a fragance smell whereby you will enjoy eating them very much. They will ask you if you want to add plum powder anot (: you can request not to or to add, depends on you! (:

I LOVE this place for their sweet potato fries! The only place in Singapore that does it so well! I would prefer slightly chunkier or thicker fries than shoestring like this. But otherwise it's very very well done. There is a sour plum flavour on the fries and they are fried nicely. A bit greasy but nothing too sickening. A bag costs about $3. And still tastes good when it's cooled! Service is pretty crappy but this makes up for it. Recommended for their sweet potato fries! Don't remember having

Crispy floss Egg Crepe is a thin spring onion pancake topped with egg. When cooked it is filled with crispy chicken floss for added texture and roll up before cutting into bit size.It cost $3.80 and you can eat it with the sauce. This is quite a filling little snack and can be eaten when you want a light meal. Taste is good, best eaten hot when the crepe is slightly crispy and the floss gave a crunchy texture. This stall sells other Taiwan Street Food like Crispy Chicken, Oyster Mee Sua etc.

I like the XXL crispy chicken from Shihlin! Love the crispiness of the chicken and the spicy chilli powder! Its simply yummy! I also quite like their oyster mee sua. I was told by some of my freinds who have been to Taiwan, they told me that Shinlin oyster mee suan is actually quite authentic as compare with the oyster mee suan in Taiwan. So these two dishes are the standard food that I will always buy from Shinlin whenever I passed by Shinlin. But will hope to try out their other dishes some ot
