Besides the XXL Chicken Cutlet, Shihlin's mee sua is one of their main signature dishes.Personally I do feel this is one of the best mee sua around. It tastes good with sufficient seasoning, and it's also slurping good! Mee sua is usually eaten only with a spoon (no chopsticks), and I find slurping it off a spoon allows me to take in more taste!Oyster mee sua, $3.80I prefer mine with extra vinegar and extra chilli.I remember when I first got addicted to Shihlin's mee sua many years back, it only costed $2.50. The $3.80 cost today shows how long it has been since the food become popular. However, I do find today's cost of $3.80 a tad expensive considering that the amount given is only half a bowl. The portion is more for a snack rather than a full meal. continue reading

The sausage cheese egg crepe at shih lin is delicious!;DThe crepe was generously filled with the sausage and cheese and topped with thick teriyaki sauce.Best to consume the crepe when it is just ready and still hot.(:It is crispy and the sausages and cheese was wrapped in the crepe in layers, which is quite a thick crepe.I could taste that the crepe was made with a mixture of egg and flour, and it taste as delicious;DThe sausages and cheese just goes so well with the crepe. They have other flavours of the crepe, and each cost $3.50. worth the buy!(: continue reading

It has become so common nowadays. When I buy some snacks from Shihlin Taiwan Street Snacks, I will only buy the XXL chicken chop. The chicken chop was nicely fried and the outer coat of the chicken was crispy but the chicken meat was too dry. The spicy powder that was added on to the chicken was okay, not too spicy but very salty. Overall, the chicken chop will be rated just average. The taste is definitely much lower than the authentic chicken chop in Taiwan.May have to wait about 5 - 10 minutes at times when there is a queue. Normally I will buy only when I have a craving for it. continue reading
