Over the past 15 years or if i can ever remember, this stall has served us well... The residents of Whampoa can always look up to something and this stall serves some good 'eh piah' that's what i was brought up to do so....On a typical Tuesday night, i went there with my mum and my sister for a quiet family dinner.... We sat down and ordered some of Shirley's delights, there was fried prawn crackers, fried fish balls, fried ngoh hiang and siew mai. We paid around $7 or so for the food and it was really quite tasty... The tastes still lingers.... This stall has been at the same location for ages ever since I was young but I've only tried them once before. I tried the huat kueh years back but somehow can't recall how well it went. Tried the fried dumpling the other day and it was merely nice. It's not bad, but it's not good either. The filling were quite a handful but lacked in taste but I have to say, the appearance looks good! continue reading
