Unexpectedly amazing good ! First time dinning at Shirokane Tori-Tama Yakitori with a friend , we sat at the bar section where the chefs were busy grilling the chicken. The chicken meatball not to my liking and preference . I like the chicken joint very much. The meat tasted succulent and juicy. This is the best I ever tried in Singapore . The fresh vegetable ( Cucumber , carrot and radish sticks ) salad with Miso sauce was very popular dish but I found it pricey. continue reading

Located at the corner shop in Robertson Walk, this yakitori place has a pretty good ambiance for after-work chill out. We were seated at the bar area where we can see how the chefs prepare and season our skewered dishes. The Butabara no shougamaki ($4.9), which is the pork belly with ginger, tastes really good! The fatty bits of the pork belly turned out great after char-grilled. Love it! They have all sort of yakitori for all parts of the chicken - different part of the meat, different internal organs.. as well as cartilage too! One should definitely try the Toritama don ($13). It contains yakitori, seasoned minced chicken and a half-boiled egg. You have to mix the runny egg with the well-seasoned minced meat and rice, the slightly wet texture of the rice is so flavourful. Yummy! continue reading

came here with my friends,The menu is quite varied & prices are fairly decent (we spent about $20 per person). We tried a selection of yakitori , rice cake wrapped with bacon, tomato & bacon, chicken wing, grilled pork belly & chicken topped with cheese. The chicken wing was perfectly cooked ,very crispy yet still juicy & tender. The pork belly was good but I would have preferred an option of having it grilled with salt, rather than teriyaki sauce. The grilled rice cake was a bit of a letdown.it was mostly a heavy, gluey mess. Overall i rate 7/10 continue reading
