One of the most delicious and affordable Indian meals I had in Singapore. Can't wait to go back to get another dose of their Indian food.Their service was good and unlike places that may detest you for ordering so little, they were quite gracious. Momos are Nepalese style steamed dumplings that may be similar to what we our steamed pork buns in the chinese context--'xiao long bao'. The skin in momos are thicker thought. There was a choice of having the buns come steamed/fried or chicken/vegetarian. Great choice for vegetarians. My favorite dish to order at an Indian Restaurant is their Spinach and Mutton combo. The meat pieces were just the right size and relatively tender. None of the meat remnants stuck in your teeth nonsense. The garlic naan was served hot but it did get cool rather quickly. Probably due to how it's served. I think it was a little tad burnt for my taste in some of the pieces though.
For two people, the meal was surprisingly very stuffing and full. I think the trick to ordering at Indian restaurants is to order less than the # of people present. Say, you have 4 people, order 3 main courses instead of 4. Also, go for different sauces and ways of cooking so you can have variety throughout the meal.
Highly recommend this place if you have an Indian food craving. Enjoy!
