Ordered 2 plates of chicken rice for lunch with boyfriend. This stall's chicken rice surprisingly serves a very big portion of rice and meat! boyfriend ordered a plate with extra tofu/ beancurd cost $3.50 whereas another plate with egg cost $3. Considered cheap with such a big plate! meat is not very dry just nice. It comes with the white/ red carrot soup is very nice that we emptied the bowl. Overall, worth the value.

I went to take away the roasted chicken rice with chicken liver for $3.50. The roasted chicken was alright. The breast part was not tough and chewy. The chicken liver tasted normal. The rice was plain. It did not have much taste but not oily. The chilli was average too and not spicy with not much of ginger or garlic taste. The overall taste is not bad but the portion is not a lot.

It was just one of those days that i do not know what to eat and so i ended up having the chicken rice from this stall for the second time. There was quite a queue on a Saturday afternoon. As most of these people were ordering the roasted pork rice, i was prompted to have roasted chicken with roasted pork rice.  There was quite a queue on a Saturday afternoon. As most of these people were ordering the roasted pork rice, i was prompted to have roasted chicken with roasted pork rice. Perhaps my expectation was a tad too high, i ended up feeling disappointed after my first piece of roasted pork. It did not taste as good as i expected. It was just ordinary. The skin did not even have the crispiness that i adore. The roasted chicken fared a tad better. It has got a delightful smoky flavor with succulent texture. The chilli was a total disappointment. It did not taste distinctly spicy with no hint of garlic nor ginger taste.

 The soup was quite a surprise. It served with pieces of chicken feet in it. It has got a pretty slight corn taste too.

It was not too bad for lunch on a lazy Saturday.

Not disappointing but no surprises, just passable. Requested to have the thigh part and i got quite a big portion for just $3.00, the chicken tasted good, rather tender and juicy with nice fluffy rice though no fragrance detected. They are generous with the slices of cucumber too. Soup tasted bland though.The only complaint gotta be the bowl they used for the soup. You might have be thinking it was a dark color soup based on the picture but the fact, it was a clear soup but the stain inside the

The only complaint gotta be the bowl they used for the soup. You might have be thinking it was a dark color soup based on the picture but the fact, it was a clear soup but the stain inside the bowl made it looked dark. They failed with regard to the presentation. I know not many people bother but i happen to be a perfectionist.
