I settled down peacefully and was in midst of waiting for my food when I receive an urgent call and had to rush off. The waiters were very understanding and didn't make a fuss about my food being in preparation. I was only able to semi enjoy the thai iced milk tea ($4.80) that came before the call. I ordered this as I was craving for the thailand milk tea I drank at from the roadside stall. The milk tea here was way too sweet and didn't have the strong tea taste. Not too sure what was the root cause but it didn't transform me back to thailand so I think this wasn't on par. Read More

Arriving the place around 3.20pm for a late lunch, but we still had to wait for about 15mins for our food after placing the order. The place had about 5 tables occupied. They serve $9.90++ Set Meal till 4pm. It consists of a main dishes and a glass of Ice Lemon Tea. For an additional $3++, you can top up for an appetizer or soup. I gave the a "2” for cleanness because there were flies flying around our table despite being an air-con place.Read More

grilled chicken satayMalay's or Siam's satay is always nice.I like the smell when they make it and also the sauce they served. It really nice and tasty. The meat is juicy and tender, although is a bit oily, but i still like it.Because it make me feel like im eating malaysia food. But i think it i quite big in size,i prefer a smaller one which sold at road side. That one is nicer, because it is more flavourful.Read More

I will always go to Siam Kitchen if i need an authentic Thai fix cos the food there are just awesome. Tom yum seafood soup (S$7.50)The tom yam soup were generous with mushroom, prawns, sotong and a few pieces of sliced fish. It has the right amount of spiciness and saltiness. But i hope their tom yam soup can be more spicy. Read More

This pineapple fried rice is not bad,a bit sour and spicy. The pineapple is quite sweet and it is quite fresh. But there is too few of pineapple in the rice already,so it not really like a pineapple fried rice.by the way,it is still taste nice as it is abit spicy.I like the dryness and spiciness of this fried rice, just i wish there is more pineapple in the fried rice.Read More

buffet at siam kitchen!Normally those buffet I went is self service with wide choice of dishes / order from menu and they will serve you whatever you want. This one is a little different , since their menu is average of variety , they will served everything from the MENU at one go. ( you can opt away food you don't want ) . whenever i eat buffet i tend to avoid rice as it can makes me full easier but this pineapple rice just made me take one bowl and more !The green curry was good, creamy and bursting with flavor, not too salty nor sweet. Chicken meat were lean too which I like, but the portion of chicken wasn't too generous.Read More

Apart from the thai food, i strongly recommend one to try their iced frost - mango drink which is priced at $5.90. Can taste the thick mango drink thus it feels like eating one whole mango in....yummy ! good to go with the pineapple fried rice which i ordered. While waiting for my rice to come, the staff served me the keropok. Initially, i thought they have served to the wrong table, but to my surprised the keropok is actually meant for me, and i was told that it is free. What a good way to attract diners i thought :) Thus, overall i will definitely patronize siam kitchen again, not because of the keropok, but because of their mango drink and the good customer services ! I thought the mini tom yum hotpot looked rather appealing as dinner so I decided to give Siam Kitchen a try. The hotpot set consisted of a bowl of rice and tang hoon, plus a plate of vegetables, prawns, chicken and fish. It was surprisingly filling and the only minor spoiler was that the hotpot was rather small and I couldn't put all the food items at one go.Read More

I will always go to Siam Kitchen if i need an authentic Thai fix cos the food there are just awesome. I especially love their Beef Soup Noodles. It is a must try when you go there. While it is not as authentic as the That counterpart, i still feel it is very nice and flavourful. The beef is quite tender, so i don't have a hard chewing on the beef. Another must try would be their mango salad. It deliciously sour sour and will help you get rid of your food's aftertaste! Read More

Siam Kitchen, in my mind it's always been an opponent against Thai Express. Both being thai chain restaurants and at affordable prices. The only difference between them is that Siam Kitchen provides complimentary keropok crackers as an appetizer, it can be dipped with the thai chili sauces. We ordered the pad thai and chicken green curry. They were both good. The pad thai was fragrant and less oily compared to Thai Express's. The green curry wasn't too creamy nor oily, however it was less generous with the chicken. To differentiate between hot and cold water served. Siam Kitchen has 2 colors of cups, red and blue. Red for the hot ones and blue for the iced water. Service here was a little slow too.Read More
