Sin Chew Gourmet (Closed)

The egg tarts from this shop has always been one of my favourite snack.  Visited here and was really glad they right now also selling the mini version.  For $3.20 for a box of 6 pieces, is consider affordable.  THe biscuit crust is very crunchy and full of the buttery fragrant in it.  The custard paste, is very smooth and soft, almost like melt in your mouth when you taste it.  The owner here is friendly and fast in her service, shop is neat and clean.

nice hawker egg tarts. very pale yellow compared to other places. less eggy as well. but looks very much like the egg tarts from the hawker opposite this stall who is also selling egg tarts. the egg tart here is less firm and less dense than the one from opposite them. the service is alright. friendly. the prices are not too bad. $1.30 per tart. i prefer portuguese style egg tart but this is not too bad. they mostly sell muffins and you can order these in the morning to collect at night.

'Cheap & Good' are the best words to describe their yummy egg tarts! Crispy crust with smooth and nice filling... make freshly daily. Must try! My verdict: 8/10
