Singapore Seafood Republic (Closed)

After my first visit here on last year, I decided to come back again to check out their famous chilli crab and at the same time try their steamfish with my fellow friends. Restaurant as usual is spacious and comfortable. Service remain friendly and quite fast this time round. Chilli crab (which they are using the Sri Lanka) gravy is very thick and spicy, which taste great! Crabs used are very fresh and sweet, with soft crab meat as well. The deep fried ma tou goes very well with this dish.

Chilli Crabs from this seafood restaurant has always been my favourite dish from this restaurant. Usually I will come here with one of my good friend to have this dish together. For the price of nearly to $40, is quite expensive but fortunately the portion was not really that little. Came to this seafood restaurant thanks to my generous working partners. It was a lovely reataurant with spacious restaurant layout and service here is also warm and friendly. They had ordered their signature chilli crabs and steamed prawns. Chilli crabs was really delicious with rwally thick and fragrant chilli paste that also has some slight sweetness in it. After the water and fireworks, we went to SG Seafood Republic as I had a craving for crabs.We were greeted by a beautiful building front and a friendly server who had us seated and took our orders of Fried Ee Mian , Kailan and Chilli Crab and Fried Man Tou (Buns).Glossy baby kailan was fresh and crunchy, simply stir fried with garlic which makes it aromatic.Fried Ee Mian had 100% wok hei taste , generous portions which fed both of us well. Located in Sentosa, is actually not too convenient to visit this restaurant. Fortunately as we have a family outing there, we managed to try the foods here during our visit at Sentosa. The restaurant looks simple and clean. Prices for most of the dishes on their menu are slightly costly, so we only choose a few dishes to try.
