Visited Singkoba at 155 Telok Ayer Street with my Korean co-worker. With so many Korean restaurants located in the Tanjong Pagar, was told that the resturant is the most popular among the Korean group.Despite going on a Monday, there was quite a crowd with the restaurant almost half full. As compared to other korean resturants that i've been to, the resturant was spaceous. They have cylinder seats which can be opened up and placed your belongings inside to prevent the barbaque smell staying on.We ordered the best seller, Grilled Beef Ribs and Pork Belly with Kimchi which is a must have as my Korean co-worker say. Food came out real fast, with the refilable side dishes "Kimchi, Fishcake, Beansprout, Spinach etc" and mostly importantly, FREE STEAMED EGG! What's more, if you are craving for ricecake or pancake but you're afraid that you can't finish them, fret not, Singkoba offers them in 2 different sizes (medium/ large). And guess what, the lady boss help us grill the meat! How often do you experience that?!!! owner of the restaurant helping you to bbq! Thumbs up for that! Of course with the expert's help, the meat was done nicely. The pork belly with kimchi was grilled on a 'stone grill' using a gas stove. The kind lady boss flipped the meat just on time as it turns literally GOLDEN BROWN. Though we ordered the none marinated meats, it was still deliciously juicy! I have to say that it's now my top favorite korean restaurant to go to. I'll try their lunch next cos i saw on their menu that it starts from $9.90 NETT; no GST no service charge! and it comes along with barley tea and 6 different side dishes. For reservation, you can call 62212639/ 84299523IT'S A MUST TRY! Now i understand why most of the Koreans come and eat here                                                   continue reading
