This was a let-down – where’s the cod fish?! It tasted more like potato puree with egg and spices.

Overall, I found the prices to be too steep for the quality and portion. It’s probably only worthwhile to visit whenever they have the 1-for-1 promo credit card promotion.

Food was good - love the truffle fries and ham & cheese pizza. Spent about $60 for two persons. Portion was just nice for two. Ordered 1 pizza and 3 sides ($18 promo) and a drink. Ambience was unique and the place was pretty clean. Service at this outlet soso only - typical cafe standard which was good enough for me! Will be back for more esp to try the bacon aglio oilo and the "american burger" (cant rememeber exact name on menu).

After collecting our vouchers from OpenRice, we head over to Skinny Pizza at Wheelock Place for dinner. Sam, Angela & Ivy are already there waiting for us. Apart from the usual Squid Ink pizza, they girls also share the Chicken Satay Pizza. This is quite nice & the sauce is full of flavor. However, couldn't really find much servings of the chicken. Would be good if they serve it with shredded chicken instead of mince chicken

With a marvelous light crisp base, it was topped by freshly green Veggies, smoky Bacon and Sunny Side Up. Not as simple as you think, in fact the combination was perfectly executed. What a satisfying pizza, it was crunchy and healthy. Always best eaten while it hot and still crispy, we had our precious pizza just in time. $24.00 for such a huge piece, the price was worth for me.

For the side dishes, the one that appealed to me most would be truffle fries! The fries were rich with the taste of truffle oil and Skinny Pizza was very generous with the serving of truffle oil! Brie cheese was a delight as well although the portion was a little small for the price. The grilled prawns were decent but my focus was entirely on the truffle fries!

The squid ink pizza was delicious! Although a bit high prise wise, the taste and portion of toppings is excellent! THe crust and base of the pizza was crispy and stained black with squid ink. The toppings were of a good mixL Vegetables, prawns and many many squid rings! Sadly there wasn't any of my favourite cheese but the toppings more than made up for it! All in all a good meal! We went in the evening and surprisingly there wasn't much of a crowd, so head down on weeknights if you can!

This restaurant has one of the quirkiest decor among its various outlets. It is adorned with white ceramic tiles from floor to the walls and splashed with a bright red peculiar painting as the backdrop. The painting has the strangest combi of a car, a dino, a screaming man and an old school VHS tape! Matching custom made chairs shared the same red/white color scheme with industrial looking wooden and metal pipes backing, and the wooden tables matches the chairs. At the front of the restaurant, a neon lighted 'Skinny Pizza' signage completes the look of this hip looking bistro.

For drinks, I had the Raspberry Julep $7++. It is a concoction of raspberry juice, lemon soda and canned lychees. This sweet and refreshing fizzy drink teases the palate with a slight tang in every sip...nice!

As usual, we ordered some sides to share when dining in a big group. They have a 3 sides for $18++ promo where you can pick any 3 items for a fixed price. We ordered two sets of these.

First set of 3, Sweet potato nibblets, Truffle fries and Harrisa prawns.

The golden fried sweet potato fingers were tossed with honey syrup and sprinkled with generous amount of fine sugar. This dish may look overly sweet but it isn't. The sweetness was surprisingly well controlled and we could still taste the natural sweetness of the sweet potato itself...extremely addictive to eat, a very well executed dish!

The unassuming looking Truffle fries was another crowd favorite as well with each fry being well coated with aromatic truffle oil...even those at the bottom wasn't spared, thumbs up.

The Harissa prawns were cooked with a North African style spicy paste and served with a slice of sweet mango and lemon. The prawns were fresh and crunchy and tasted delish with the harissa paste...we enjoyed this as well.

The pork and beef sausages were pretty salty. We preferred the chicken sausage which is rather spicy and flavorful.

For mains, we ordered two types of pizzas to share, Chicken Satay pizza $22++ and the intriguing new item Squid Ink Pizza Pop $15++.

The Squid Ink Pizza Pop is served in a cake tin, looking pretty with generous topping of chunky squid rings and mid size fresh prawns, and garnished with rocket leaves, onion & cheese flakes.

To enjoy this dish, we gotta break the Pop using a knife to allow the ingredients on top to drop into the hollow center where there is some squid ink sauce at the base to be eaten with the ingredients. A really interesting concept!

The ultra thin and crispy crust tasted like squid ink cream crackers...yums. The generous serving of seafood were very fresh and cooked just right, very good.

The Chicken Satay pizza surprises us with its authentically flavored thick peanut sauce and tender chunks of marinated chicken meat and sweet pineapple cubes. Nice rendition of the much loved local flavor into a delicious pizza topping. Eating this thin crust pizza is like eating cream crackers dipped in yummy satay sauce...so satisfying!

We had a great time catching up over great food and warm service. Service may become a little slow during peak hours though. Food quality was good and affordable, we only paid $27 each after the 15% discount...incredible value for money! Definitely worth repeated visits.

I loved the lights in this one ^ It really gives the place a jazzy feel!

Skinny Pizza offers a good range of Western cuisine, ranging from their signature pizzas to their pastas as well as sides (which include corn on the cob, truffle fries etc), and it's great to share so you should definitely bring friends along for this place.

We ordered a Squid Ink Pizza ($25), a Ginger Butter Chicken Pizza ($23) and a portion of Truffle Fries ($7) to share. There is a good mix of both fusion and western pizzas so there is something to suit everyone.

The Squid Ink Pizza is one of their signatures and is definitely a must-try. The base is completely black, and it has a nice refined taste different from the normal flour crust. It is topped with wild rocket, squid, prawns and just a splash of balsamic vinegar for that added flavour. This pizza has a surprisingly light taste -the freshness of the seafood is evident because of the minimal seasoning. Highly recommended.

The truffle fries portion was a little small for $7, and while I am not a fan of shoestring fries, truffle oil lovers will fangirl over this. You can smell the truffle oil even before the fries are right under your nose. The wafting scent is pure heaven for any truffle fries fan. The fries are served hot (a bit oily though), and really crispy (more crispy than fluffy in fact). I would like my fries a bit more potatoey though.

The Ginger Butter Chicken had a distinctive aroma of Indian curry spices. There were chicken chunks as well as fresh greens topping this crust. While it was undeniably tasty, I was a bit torn over deciding if this chicken resembled 'butter chicken' more or 'curry chicken'. It did not seem the possess the intense spiciness and heat of curry, nor did it have a particularly rich buttery flavour to speak out. A pity!

If you do head down to Skinny Pizza, we recommend you go for the Squid Ink Pasta and the Truffle Fries. The Aglio Olio also has a generous serving of seafood, so if you're craving some pasta you may wish to consider this. They also serve iced water, which is constantly refilled by the attentive staff

As suggested by its name, skinny pizza crust is really thin yet crispy like a biscuit. I ordered their signature dish, which is the squid ink pizza and it was filled with generous serving of vegetables and squid. Overall, it cost around $25 for a pizza, but I think it is worth a try for this unique pizza. However, do avoid going at peak period, as the queue can take up to 15minutes.

The prawn is really large king size, and the aglio olio style linguine is very fragrant with garlic and black pepper flavour. Though the food is nice, it is better to order one pizza and one pasta to share with one person so that it wouldn't be too boring at the end.

We decided to be adventurous & go ahead with Squid Ink Pasta. It might look quite disgusting, but it actually taste pretty good. Squid servings were quite generous too. Pizza if super thin & crispy it feels like you're eating biscuits. I reckon I can eat the whole pizza on my own! The only thing is, there's too much fresh vegetables on it.

This is how thin the crust is. Seriously, if you eat on its own, it tasted like normal cream biscuit. However, when you eat it together with the toppings, it brought the taste to a whole new level.

Overall, we had a very good dining experience here with the delicious food and the service staff were also all full of smiles.

Tried their specialty pizza and it was really aromatic and fragrant. The pizza's cheese is also really delicious and adds a nice aroma to the pizza. The fish and chips were also not bad and i love the crispy fried fish that was cooked to perfection.

Truffled mushroom @ $24
We all know truffled mushroom are rare and highly esteemed, because of the way they are extracted. Google to find out more!

Other than that, Estelle was saying it's pretty good because of the strong truffled mushroom flavor. I wouldn't really agree completely because the taste of it was a little too strong for me. Order at your own preference!

Squid Ink Paella $22
This dish comes with some clams and squid, with plenty of capsicums. Overall, it's fragrant and tasty for its slightly charred paella. However, the rice can be quite little for they uses shallow (but wide) pans.

The depth of the rice on the pan is at most 1 inch only. So this is really little for $22. Good for girls on diet maybe?

As for the services, the waitresses are really nice and they come to you almost immediately. Perhaps because there's little customers when I was there!

You can try it here!!! Skinny Pizza is an awesome chill out spot to eat... I ordered the bacon egg and cheese pizza... Bacon and eggs... who can go wrong with that??? Cheese with pizza! Awesome combo... so you add the four elements of awesomeness we get a FIESTA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The service staff are quite experienced as they were telling me about certain promotions that were going on! Thats professionalism... They served me ice water without any prompting which is a good intiative!

Furthermore, i think that they should have a bit more offers to choose from or something rather eclectic.

The only complain i have for that place is that the seats are too uncomfortable... Despite my size... it is too small for some people to sit and i am talking about the normal guys!!! Ok well... i guess they should have more booth seats!!!

Upon payment, i received a 10% voucher which is valid for POSB or DBS debit cards.

Skinny pizza FTW!
