My first time trying out Snackz It. I've passed by this little stall many times on my way home and know that it sells Taiwan-style chicken cutlets, which is renowned and very popular among Singaporean youths these days. I ordered the Chicken Bento Box ($5.50) as takeout for dinner. It came with rice, a chicken cutlet, one braised egg and some cabbage that served as salad. Their chicken is fried upon your order so it was fresh and hot upon serving. You can see the pepper flakes on the chicken ski

I ordered the Chicken Bento Box ($5.50) as takeout for dinner. It came with rice, a chicken cutlet, one braised egg and some cabbage that served as salad. Their chicken is fried upon your order so it was fresh and hot upon serving. You can see the pepper flakes on the chicken skin and know that it was well-marinated. Chicken skin was crispy and the meat was tender. The serving of rice was so huge that it can easily feed 2 people!

i was craving for a little snack but could not thick of what to eat so I settled for Ke Kou Wei XL chicken. Their chicken is only deep fried upon ordering so it is fresh and hot when they served it to you. I noticed that their chicken is really huge piece and there was no bone at all. I like the batter they coat it with, very crispy. Their chicken is very juicy and not oily at all. The meat is so tender. I like it with the chilli powder, it gave it some hotness.

I wanted something quick and easy to eat for dinner so I decided to grab a bowl of the oyster mee sua from ke kou wei at Lot One’s basement. Normally one portion is not really enough for me, but I was not feeling too hungry so it was just right. The oysters they added to the mee sua is indeed fresh, it added some natural sweetness to the soup. the soup/gravy is good, not too salty, yet thick and tasty. it was very easy to eat too, just swallow, hardly requiring you to even chew.

Not a lot of Taiwanese stalls sell fried mushroom, normally they only focus on selling the XL chicken, sour plum sweet potato and oyster mee sua. But ke kou wei included the fried shitake mushroom. I like their fried shitake mushroom, on the outside, it is crispy, but when you bite into it, it is juicy and soft. They will season it with chilli powder and plum powder, this makes the shitake mushroom taste even nicer. I always buy the mushroom if I happened to pass by a ke kou wei.

I was not too hungry the other day so I headed to lot one basement to get some mee sua for dinner.i think ke kou wei serves on of the nicer Taiwanese mee sua around. Instead of having only the oyster mee sua, they also have the pork rib mee sua. In my opinion, the pork rib mee sua is pretty good, I would prefer it than to the oyster mee sua. The pork ribs is deep fried to very crispy, the meat is very juicy and a little on the salty side. Their sambal chilli is pretty good, not too spicy but yet

After visiting my in-laws, I hopped onto the bus to lot one to buy dinner back for my husband and myself. After walking around, I finally setted for ke kou wei. i decided to buy their pork ribs mee sua back for us. There were quite a number of pork ribs in the bowl. The pork ribs were marinated and fried before adding into the mee sua. It tasted very fragrant. The meat is a little chewy though, probably due to them overcooking it. The gravy is very thick and tasty, I asked the person to add more

Ke kou wei shifted away to the previous mangosity place. i went to the old location and it was taken over by gong cha. the new venue is opposite dian xiao er, subway that stretch. so glad they did not completely shift away. i am such a great fan of their fried mushroom. the mushroom is so juicy. you must definitely eat it hot, when it gets cold, it is not longer nice.
