This is a 4 star-rating because their fishballs are made fresh at the stall. So the result is really bouncy springy lovely fishballs!! They also have a choice of their homemade meatballs! And those are great too!!!!The Chilli they used for flavoring their noodles also deserve special mention. Very fragrant and tasty, totally added life to a humble bowl of carbo. The only drawback was their soup. Not sure if they added a tad too much water that day I ate but it was bland. 😞Definitely a place to return to! 👍🏼 continue reading

The FoodI ordered the fishball mee pok dry served with 7 fishballs and Tau Pok. The fishballs here were medium size and nicely flavoured, smooth, bouncy and springy and most important very fresh. As for the noodles are slightly soggy and over cooked. However, the chilli was sweet and spicy and blended well with the noodles. The PriceReasonably priced at $4.00 per bowl for extra noodlesOverallI will definitely come back again to try the kway teow soup continue reading

Finally had the chance to try the handmade meatballs. Opted for the $5 big bowl, i get around 5 meatballs and 5 fishball, pretty generous i must say. Meatball was nice and big, thumbs-up. I actually prefer the meatball over the fishball, wonder if they have a all meatball $5 version LOL. But today the meepok was a little off form, All clumped up after a while and chilli was over aggressive in quantity. continue reading

i've always wondered whats the hype with this stall and its long queue. queuing behind, i could see the stall is mend by 2 uncles and an auntie, one prepares the noodles, the other pours soup from a big metal can and the auntie does ad hoc stuff. Its not just pure fishball is offered, it also includes tou pok and homemade meat balls. When it was my turn i did not get to try the meatball though coz it was sold out. The meatball looks more like fish cake sized actually. i had mee pok dry with the more ingredients option for $1 more but that only came with 1 more fish ball and tau pok . Was certainly delighted by the yong tau foo ingredients and the mee pok was perfectly cooked and mixed with chilli. The soup though felt quite average though. Still hope to try the meatball next time! Normal sized $3. continue reading

This stall is known for its handmade fishball. Queue can be anticipated during weekends and evenings. A basic bowl of noodle is priced at $3. It came with a few of their signature fishballs. The dry mee pok was served with their special chilli. When tossed it well, the level of spiciness has given the noodle an extra kick. Their fishballs tasted fresh with a bouncy texture. Dried shallots and fried pork lards were added to enhance its flavor. This is one of the nicest fishball noodle in Singapore. continue reading
