Mixed pork porridge $2.70:The mixed pork porridge consists of pig liver, meat balls, and pork slices. I queued for around 20 minutes before it finally got to my turn. The porridge is more of the watery kind and has a "natural flavour" to it (doesn't feel like there is any m.s.g). Although the porridge is delicious (the mixed meat makes it tastier), I wouldn't queue 20 minutes for it.

Ordered a bowl of pork slices congee for $2.50. Waiting time was about 20 minutes at 11+ am because they cook on the spot and it takes a longer time to do so. The texture of the congee was quite watery. I would prefer my congee to be less watery. It was nevertheless tasty but I doubt I will have the patience to wait for 20 minutes for this congee again as it wasn't that fantastic. Pork slices were tender and plentiful

This is one of the best porridge stall ever. Well, it is not only nice but cheap. I ordered this pork porridge at $2.50 per bowl. The ingredients they gave are also quite generous; 2 slices of pig kidney and around 5-6 slices of pork. Hence, for such good food and affordable pricing, the queue was long. It takes around 20 minutes before my porridge is served. However, they sent the food their customers' table which at least allow customers to have a seat while waiting.

Pork porridge, the signature dish of soon lee costs S$2.50 per bowl. If you want to add an egg, it would cost you S$0.30 more and for take away it will be additional S$0.20. Popular among the young and old, its "Cook-To-Order" method could take one to wait for up to about 20 minutes just to enjoy a bowl of their favourite porridge. If not for my colleages' effort, I will not want to try the porridge due to the disappointing standards encountered during my last purchase.Luckily the portion of por

Luckily the portion of porridge was not as watery as the last round. Since it was cooked based on the order, every bowl of porridge served is piping hot. I have to be very careful when consuming. I still love the richness tasty ingredients that comes along with the porridge however if they can minimise the water content, it will be better.

Sunday morning, we went for jogging from Jurong east to Clementi & decided to eat breakfast...We had their pork porridge ($2.50). Sunday morning, we went for jogging from Jurong east to Clementi & decided to eat breakfast...

We had their pork porridge ($2.50). It's not self-service, they would bring over to your table because you do have to wait for quite some time. There's quite a lot of people waiting for their orders as well...You can see that the people tending the stall are very busy all of the time...

Well, first of all, it's really quite value for money since it's only $2.50 but they give you a lot of stuff inside the porridge (pork liver as well)...

The porridge was quite thick and yet smooth to taste. The pork itself is also very savory... Definitely recommended for those porridge lovers...They sell fish and chicken porridge as well and for an extra 30 cents you get an egg...

Recently hot weather, be prepare to sweat...

Expect a 20min wait for your bowl of porridge. Seriously, with this kind of standard, it isnt worth the wait anymore. I used to think that it's the best porridge, ever since the chief cook has sold it's recipe to the new stall owner, everything changes. In fact, I can find some where similar selling the same porridge.

Ambience
It is always very quiet on a Monday as most of the stalls are closed.

Price
$2.50 used to worth every mouthful I had. Now, it's the reverse.

Recommendation / Tips
I wont patronize this anymore.

I never fail to order mix pork porridge with egg when I visit clementi food centre. This porridge is my favourite as it remembers me of my childhood days. I only order pork porridge as I dont think other type of porridge is up to its match!Bear in mind that once you had order, you need to wait about 30 minutes to get it served as the porridge is cook based by per order. However recently, I notice that the cook had changed and I find that the porridge tastes oily and not that nice and before.

Located in the buzzling Clementi Food centre is this stall called Soon Lee selling Hainanese Porridge. Their porridge is a comfort food for me. Their pork meats are fresh and savoury which is also another factor why it attracts the crowds.

I must say that Soon Lee porridge is my choice of food when I felt that I have eaten too much oily food or during cold weather.

I can get frustrated when it comes to waiting for my food but this is the one of the few stalls which I am willing to wait patiently. I have been patronising this stall since school time. I have only tried their pork porridge and has been eating since then. I love their meat ball and the texture of the porridge, it is not too "gluey" and not too watery. Customers can also choose to add a raw egg, and as it will be half cooked by the time it is being served. Half hour waiting time is normal for
