I was looking for something spicy soupy food and came across to this stall. I remembered my friend recommended it to me last time. The stall looked quite big, bright and clean. It was selling Minced Pork Noodles, Yong Tau Foo, Pork Leg and etc. Queue was for sure, it was peaking lunch hour. The ingredients were not too generous, portion was little. It was a bit different with Katong Laksa. Curry flavour was strong, I can tasted rich fragrance of freshly squeezed coconut milk. I ordered thick meehoon, it matched perfectly with the savory Laksa gravy. It was better if extra one spoon Sambal Chilli added to my soup. $2.50 for mine, I finished the whole bowl even the soup. continue reading

The FoodI ordered a bowl of Pig Leg Mee Pok and taste delicious. The Pig Leg is fragrant and stewed till it's soft and tender. The layer of fats is also fragrant and so soft that it simply melts in my mouth. The texture of the mee pok is just nice, not too soft and springy. Chilli sauce and vinegar were added in the right amount hence making the mee pok very tasty. The stew sauce used made the whole dish very savory and fragrant. The PriceReasonably priced at $3 with generous portion hence value for moneyOverallI will definitely come back again and highly recommended to try this! continue reading

See more reviews at http://thehungrybunnie.blogspot.comWe had the Minced Pork Noodles ($2.50): Although it wasn't the best I've tried, it was ridiculously cheap for the quality and portion. The sauce was tangy and spicy, the flat egg noodles (mee pok) was done al dente, and the ingredients were generous. And they use fresh pork so it's mild and sweet and juicy, no yucky frozen pork after-taste here. continue reading
