This is one of the better teo chew porridge place I have come across so far. I was looking for something healthy that day and decided on porridge. Do go early for dinner as the queue can get very long. I got the chilli sotong, which was not too spicy, and I liked their chilli which goes well with porridge. The sauce drizzled on the tofu was also good, very flavourful; tofu was also silky soft in the inside.

I was here for dinner and again, there was a snaking queue and I queued for around 15 minutes. They would take your order first and serve it to you at your table when all dishes are prepared. I love the fish as the gravy was very flavourful, not too spicy (has a little fermented beans taste) and goes well with plain porridge. The spinach was also soft and well stir-fried. Do get the otah as well, has pieces of fish meat within. All these dishes came up to $20+ for 2 persons.

Soon Soon is always a good place to have dinner when you are looking for good teo chew porridge; they offer a great variety of dishes for you to choose from, which in my opinion is more than the porridge stall at nearby Kovan hawker, and have nicer dishes as well. I chose the otah - not too spicy and one can easily taste pieces of fish meat; was quite a large piece as well, the cabbage was not oily nor bland, good choice of veg.

This has become one of my favourite places for teo chew porridge. I was first attracted by the extremely long queue everytime I pass by. They have a variety of dishes for you to choose from, veggies, otah, fish (steamed or fried), duck, sotong, etc. You will definitely be spoilt for choices. The highlight of my meal, as a fish lover, is of course the fried pomfret. It is fried till crispy on the outside, and the meat was very tender. Loved the gravy, a tinge of spiciness and very flavourful.

This place is well-known amongst the local residents. There's always a long queue at dinner time, whether is it for takeaway or for dining in. We chose to dine in. I ordered a 'bao cai' or cabbage. This was good, with the cabbage being very crunchy after being fried. Excellent. I also ordered a plate of steaming hot otah. This is extremely popular with new batches coming out ever so often. The otah paste is great and the fishy taste is rather strong. I will be back for more!
