Today I've decided to have wholesome double boil soup (without MSG) for dinner. Soup Master is a rather successful franchise chain with numerous outlets sprouting everywhere. My all time fave is the Lotus root soup with pork rib and peanuts $4.50. The stall owner was in a good mood, gave me very generous amount of lotus root slices and 4 meaty chunks of pork rib. The soup has been slow cooked for many hours, it was very flavorful and the pork rib has become soft and effortless to bite. The lotus root slices and peanuts has been fully infused with flavor and were a delight to eat
