After hearing so much about the samsui ginger chicken, I finally gave it a try. $15.90. This portion is enough for 4 people. Although the restaurant name is Soup, i had never tried the soup as I will definitely go for the chicken. It's reasonably priced at $15+ / portion, sufficient for 2 pax. We added2 more dishes, tofu and vegetable and it was certainly filling for 3 pax. Total bill was about $54+.Will return.

One thing I really like about Soup Restaurant is the feeling I get when I step into the restaurant. Somehow it feels very homely and the dishes also taste very homely. Like what most of us would think me inclusive. I had the conception from the name of the restaurant that it only serves soup, or maybe mostly soup dishes. It was until I went up to have a look at the menu that I realized, it was just like any other Chinese restaurants – like Dian Xiao Er and PuTien – it’s a high class zhi-char, where you order dishes to go along with a bowl of rice, in general. The most recommend restaurant is the samsui chicken, which I think not nice, too soggy and it is cold.

I was in the mood for a simple dinner and since I've been here before, albeit a long time ago, decided to drop by again for a no-brainer meal.The 三水姜茸鸡, being a signature dish, was extremely popular as it was seen on almost every table.
