I was quite pleasantly surprised to see a pop-up store at the Shaw Lido basement supermarket, after hearing that they closed down their outlet at Bugis. Not sure if they will be situated at Lido long term, but it's probably the only place you can find Soyato for now. I got myself a Peppermint Chip and Green Tea ice cream ($5.40). For those who enjoy soy or are lactose intolerant, this is a great healthy alternative. The ice cream is really smooth and creamy and it's supposedly less fattening too

Talk about a guilty pleasure you can indulge in without putting on (much) weight.

First time trying this brand of yogurt ice cream and surprisingly it taste really good which is more than my expectation. The mango flavour is very fragrant and it is full of the natural sweetness from the mango fruit. The honey lemon flavour feels like very cooling and able to cool my throat. Both flavours are simple delicious and I will definitely try the rest of the flavours very soon.

The cookie explosion waffle bowl sundae is YUMMY!!~ My friend recommended me soyato as it is healthier and has half the calories as normal ice-cream. At first, i thought this 100% soy-based ice cream would not be very creamy. But, it is actually as creamy as other ice cream and it is quite rich in flavour too . the cookie explosion is chocolate in flavour and it contains some cookie bits in between. YUM YUM

I had this back in march when there is a promotion for soyato. It is very easy to locate this in bugis junction, it is at the basement near to KFC. I chose the Green Tea with peanut topping for $3.80 since the green tea one is supposedly the healthier choice. The texture is very smooth and creamy and if I wasn't told, I would have those it was normal ice cream! I am just amazed how alike it tastes to real ice cream where there isn't any eggs or cream or milk used at all. This is definitely worth trying!

I was attracted to Soyato's claims of a low fat ice cream and decided to give it a go! My bestie and i shared a double scoop of green tea and soya ice cream!Truthfully speaking, i found the soya flavour pretty strong in the ice cream, and since im not a huge fan of soya, this ice cream was not really a great hit with me!However, fans of soya might want to try it out instead, who knows, you might like it!

Soyato is a frozen dessert made of soymilk, with no cholesterol and fat-free. Since I had a coupon to buy a scoop for $1.90, I decided to try this dessert after watching a movie. The staff is friendly and they let you try the flavours. There are 10+ flavours to choose from and if you can't make up your mind, try their most popular flavour - Honey Lemon. I believe they launch new flavours as some flavours are currently sold in their shop but were not shown on their website.

Nice ice cream, the texture is quite smooth. I tried the "Cookies Explosion" and the chocolate cookies taste is very strong together with pieces of cookies! I love this! And the person there is nice, give my friends to try out the different flavours of the ice cream and we actually tried a lot. I think the milk tea and the honey lemon one will be nice, din't try though.

I tried Royal Tea and the taste was more inclined to less sweet tea, so it actually had the original tea taste but I wished it was sweeter. I bought Hazelnut and drizzled chocolate sauce on it. You could choose the strawberry or caramel sauces too. The ice-cream indeed has hazelnut flavour, with slight hint of soymilk taste. It was creamy and one scoop is definitely not enough! I hope they could lower their prices and make it an economical and tasty dessert choice!

I'd heard of Soyato from some friends who work in the Bugis area but only managed to try it for myself a few days ago. I was pleasantly surprised because it didn't taste like the usual soya bean ice creams I've had before - in fact, in most flavours, I'd have thought that it was just regular ice cream! I was even more surprised when I heard that they don't use any dairy products at all... which makes it very healthy. The staff allowed me to sample the flavours, which was good. They have flavours

The staff allowed me to sample the flavours, which was good. They have flavours ranging from "heavier" ones like chocolate and peanut butter, and "lighter" ones like mango and honey lemon. In the end, I got myself a double scoop of apple cinnamon (tastes like apple pie!!) and honey lemon (so refreshing). AWESOME
And there was a Happy Hour discount at that time, which made my purchase only $4.50 for 2 scoops!

I'd definitely come back again to try the rest of the flavours. Love the idea of being able to satisfy my sweet tooth without feeling that guilty pinch...!

Soyato is now in Singapore finally! It is a concept from Japanese whereby the ice cream is made up of soy! (without any milk!) I've tried Honey Lemon, Yuzu, Hazelnut, Chocolate and Peanut and I must say that my most favourite 2 flavours are honey lemon and peanut! I'm surprised that the taste of soy is not that strong afterall. I cant wait to try out another exotic flavours during my next visit there!
