After a long walk shopping in orchard road, decided to stop a while and grab some snacks here. Restaurant is comfortable and cooling. Service here Is quick friendly and helpful too. Have bought their chocolate milk shake e and brownie with vanilla ice cream. Milk shake was very thick in texture and not too sweet and fragrant. Brownie was firm an full of the thick dark chocolate flavour in it. Ice cream was very soft and dmooth which goes well with it. Spend less than $20 which is quite affordable. continue reading

I think I was a pasta addict, I like to eat spaghetti since I knew it regardless how it was cooked. The restaurant looked elegant with orange bulb and the ambience made me felt very calm. The staffs working there were friendly and readily welcome their hungry customers. After browsing the Menu, I ordered this. Fresh Seafood with peppery sauce, it tasted a bit spicy. The mix of seafood and other ingredients gave this dish, Black Pepper Seafood Pasta, a delightful outlook. It costs $16.50++ for mine. continue reading

Coveredd in white cream sauce and topped with generous amount of salmon and mushrooms, this spagatti is really good. Topped it with more shredded cheese and dried chilli flakes and it would be complete! the spagatti is well cooked and not too soggy or hard. Love the cream sauce that coats the spagatti and the flavours are amazing. One of my favourite pasta places! continue reading

Was feeling to have some Italian food for lunch so the whole bunch of us decided to visit Spageddies @ Orchard Central for a relaxing lunch. They were having a promotion then for lunch, cost $9.90++ for a 3 course meal which includes a main, garlic bread, choice of soft drink or coffee/tea. I decided to go their spaghetti vongole, something classic as I am not in the mood to try something different. As I prefer linguine more than spaghetti, I requested to have that changed to linguine as well. Portion of the main dish is acceptable, not too big nor small, just enough for you to feel full. They are quite generous with the amount of clams given, so it's a plus point for me. I like the sauce with it, it was tasty with twist of the freshness of the clam. Overall it was an enjoyable meal for me. The servers are attentive to refill our water without us asking, and they clear away our plates promptly too. continue reading

I haven't been to Spageddies is a long time since they moved out of Tanglin Mall, but I've always enjoyed the food here. It was a really packed Saturday night and many of the other restaurants in that area had a really long queue, so we decided to try our luck at Spageddies. When we reached, there were only 1 group of 4 people in front of us (yay!) but since it was only the 2 of us, the staff gave us a seat first (double yay!). Here's what we feasted onrimo Combo ($12.50) comes with Calamari, Soft Shell Crab and Mozarella Cheese Sticks with homemade tartar and salsa sauces. I didn't enjoy the soft shell crab much because it had this fishy taste and wasn't as crispy as the ones you get in Japanese restaurants. The Mozarella cheese stick was good, but you can probably only eat 1 or 2 before getting tired of it. The calamari was alright too.The restaurant was quite lively on a Saturday evening and there were quite a few patrons in large groups as well as couples just hanging out. The staff who served us was also very friendly and he was observant enough to know when we need a re-fill on our water. We also ordered an Oriental Crispy Chicken Salad ($10.50) which comes with Thai sweet chili dressing. The chicken was good and the dressing is definitely a must-try for chili-lovers.As if that wasn't enough food, we just had to add a Braised Lamb Shank ($18.50) to our meal. I felt that this dish was a bit too salty. You can hardly eat it on its own without any starch to wash off the saltiness, so it was a good thing we had the salad.Overall, I felt that the standard has dropped since they relocated but still not a bad place to hang and pig out on the weekends. Just make sure you have enough people if you want to order the Primo Combo because too much fried stuff can become quite overbearing. continue reading
